clearcorners will charge you 100 bucks for a pair. either that or you could line your trash barrel with bills.

I'm not, properly done, they really do look better. It depends on the car. Usually Euros look better with clear sidemarkers.

Very much so. I think people are stupid and think anything "clear" is ricey.

how do you know i don't just want clear corners but keep the same color bulb in there. i just think the yellow and red lens looks old. it's not like i am putting bright strobes or neon lites in place of them. so i guess all those cars that come wth clear sidemarkers fromthe factory are rice too then huh? :rolleyes

thats just the point. the european cars that come stock with clear lights are meant to be like that. the jdm cars that come with amber are meant to be like that. why do you have to change it? seriously my amber lights are the most stock "jdm" thing on my car. Im suprised no one else has thought like this. YOUR CAR IS JDM WITH THE AMBER LIGHTS!! WOOHOO :)

funny how hardly any of the nissans in japan have clear lights anywhere....oh yeah cuz they are flaming gay....

that's my humble opinion :-\

Hey shut up. Clear lights look GREAT when they're done right. If anyone ever puts euro's on a 240 i'll shoot theh, but i think having clear turn signals and sidemarkers looks GREAT!

I like them, I don't know why yall argue over what you like over what someone else likes. We are all intitled to our own opinion, what someone else gets on their car shouldn't bother someone else. I mean, it's not "your" car, so my look at it is if YOU like it, then by all means do it. What matters is what YOU like, don't worry what other people think.

Just my 2 cents. no hard feelings :)

Yours Truly,~Marshall

I'd love clear sidemarkers with the "kouki" (sp) conversion taillights. But for that money I could do a lot better things.

Sidemarkers are not tail lights. Sidemarkers are the turn signals on your front fenders. How can you have sidemarkers with a kouki conversion? Kouki is a seperate conversion.

Oh yeah, did i mention my clear sidemarkers cost me $14us shipped to canada? :D

The bulb is clear, so then you'll just have white lights there with clear corners and get pulled over. Nice.

Its a waste of money, why would you want to make your car look "euro"?? Its a Nissan, not a VW.

Clear sidemarkers are very ricey, and look a lot less "clean" then stock. The red and amber are meant to be there, so changing them won't clean it up, it'll make it look messy. Definitly RICEY.

As soon as i saw this post, i knew someone would get flamed for being riced out, then someone would say that they look good, i think this **** is becoming predictable, and i think that the owner of their car should do what THEY want. thanks

Accually it's legal to have clear turn signals/side markers on the 240, but you can't have any other color, and besides you can buy the amber bulbs to replace the clear ones anyway.

: : minimizes window... looks at background... maximizes window... clicks the reply button with a snicker : : Hmm... What's this? An R34 GT-R with... CLEAR SIDEMARKERS... STOCK!! I believe, APEXI240, that you are wrong. Jetta/Golf/GTi's didn't start getting them until the MK4 generation anyway, so... What's your point?

It doesn't matter when they got them...Clear sidemarkers are prodiminatly a European trend, I wasn't talking about VWs specifically. There are a lot of companies who use clear sidemarkers. So my POINT is that its a European trend, like M3 style mirrors, ect.

Its amazing that you picked an exception to a rule....hard to do.

I just don't understand how it looks "cleaner". You are replacing say an amber sidemarker (one color), and putting on a clear lense and then a colored bulb (constrast), to me its just more color changes.

But like everyone said, its your car do what you want.

14 bucks is lik 3/4s of a tank of gas, or some synthetic oil, or a CD, or a 30 pack of beer . In my personal opinion there are just so many better things to spend money on.
