are there clear sidemarkers for s13?

Mercedes dealers have ones that may fit. Cost.....? L8R ya'll. peace.

Anyone out there with mp3 players in their cars? I made a Cd yesterday with 195 songs. Tight.

mercedes ml320 sidemarker lights work with minor reshaping of the hole it clips into... plus they only cost about $6 apiece and have the amber bulb built in. I've replaced my front sidemarkers with them on my white s13 and I think they look GREAT!

Sure there's better things to spend $ on, but when it comes to cheap appearance mods, clear sidemarkers do well. You're entitled to your opinion.

yeah well i think they look good damnit... its not like we have the euro lights in the back.. it just makes it look cleaner.. but yes the money could be spent on a cd but why when you could download it..

HAHA, I can't download a damn thing, I can't watch videos. This computer sucks, and I can't afford a cable or DSL connection. But you're right, I try to burn as many CDs as possible, I'd rather spend it on beer.

Right now though, I'm literally trying to save every penny I can for an SR setup, my transmission is really strugglin.

HELL YEAH I need money. I'd sell coke, or herion, but its too risky. I don't really have the capitol for any other get rich quick schemes. We can't even return our aluminum cans for 5 cents.

I think clear sidemarkers and clear turn signals look really good on black and white cars. Here are some clear turns and ML320 sidemarkers on my old s13 coupe. Makes it look even better when the windows are 5%.

Well one good reason not to use clear anythings is that they are illegal (At least here in Ontario) The Highway Traffic Act states that all vehicles must have a red reflector on the rear and on both rear sides. They must also have an amber reflector on both sides of the front. In addition they must shine a white or amber light from the front. I don't get why I would risk a $100 fine for some ****ty side markers s'all :sleep

Clear sidemarkers still have colored bulbs, you know.

My mercedes ml320 one's have an orange bulb that shine BRIGHTER than the stock s13 sidemarkers at night

It really depends on the car and the color. Euros almost always look good with them. WRXs look really good, as do Audi A4s. I haven't seen enough 240s with them to really tell, I would think S13s look okay, and S14s would look pretty good, anyone got pics?

Someone tried putting ml320 sidemarkers on the rear of their s13 and said they had problems wiring up, since the wiring is different than the front.

However, i've seen pictures of s13's with clear sidemarkers all around... so i guess it's just a matter of learning how to wire them up.

When I installed the ML320 clear sides up front, I didn't have to do ANY wiring. I found that I could just alter the inside lip of the light fixture and make the stock lights fit inside the ML320 housing.

See, I was wondering about what bomex said about amber and red reflectors. If you look at all the cars around you, they will either have part of the turn signal on the side, sidemarkers like our cars, or a reflector on the side of the headlights. The point is, 240s only have the sidemarkers as reflectors, and clear sidemarkers, no matter what color bulb they have, are not amber or red REFLECTORS. I am not sure if they have to remain on the car by law in Texas, but all of the manufacturers put some kind of reflectors on, even if they have clear sidemarkers too. It is the same reason clear taillights are illegal, even with red bulbs.(Sorry for the long post)

I have D-speed sidemarker. got it from jspec.com for 90 bucks. They don't sell anymore. Excellent quality. It fits exactly but little shorter than US stock one. I put LED bulb in it. Check out my pic gallery
