Maybe I'm slow today, but I don't get it. ^

This is actually a very interesting development. Apple is trying to tiptoe along some very fine lines here. This is going to blow up in someone's face. Definitely tuned in...

eating hat. i'm agreeing with you. however i still dont think it was totally out of the question until this legal action was taken.

Read the article (I think it was posted on Giz) about the guy who showed Steve Wozniak the iPad 3G before it was released. He was subsequently released from the company. The fact that you can be fired for showing products to one of the executives of the company shows how secretive the policies are. I just don't see Apple doing a 180.

Also, I really think Apple is going to get burned a bit by this. The press is not happy about what they feel is a violation of their rights. There's not going to be any good publicity for Apple or the police force heading up the investigation on this one.
