Hmmmm...more felonies! Anyways, anybody got a part # for the new belt? or is it just one of those miss and match deals? I'm sending the guy the cashiers check for the bracket today.

If you use the v-belt, then you just have to buy a belt at whatever length you need. I think it's... 40", or something close to it. 42" is too big, get a piece of string and measure what you will need.

Received bracket, uhh anyone have 87 NA service manual? Alternator removal and installation. Picture of which way bracket sits is really what I need. Will this support the Maxima higher amp alt. also? Something else in my line up of changes.

Doesn't need much modification to fit another alternator. The tensioner is what really gets modified, from how I understand it.
