anyone try acetone in their 240?

somethings wrong. last time i got 217 miles on 10 gallons. now, i'm down to a quarter tank and have only clocked like 145. AND THIS IS NOW THAT I PUT ACETONE IN WITH THE GAS! i don't get it.

I used 4 oz of acetone in a full tank of 93. On highway miles at 65-75 average, I got 32mpg. In town, where my right foot is still trying to kill the KA, I got 21, which is a large improvement over the 17-20 that I usually get. Power increase is not noticeable, but it cranks better hot and revs quicker, so it is worth it. A quart of 100% pure is only $4.47 at Walmart, and is enough to treat 8 full tanks.

exactly... I'm right under a half tank, and have went 260 miles.. most in town.. :\ pretty crazy. I used about that on a full tank.. right around 4oz... remember, once it hits E, there's usually like 2 gallons left.. at least in my car... it was on E, I filled it up, and only got 13.3 gallons in there.. the tank is 15.9.. so yeah..

if you changed you changed your driving habits at all or.. did more city driving then highway on that tank it could account for the difference.
