This has happened a couple times actually

i have a 93 hatch with electric windows and locks and stuff but today it was like -15 out yeah negative, here in northern Wisconsin and my drivers door would not unlock with the key

it wasn't the seal or anything frozen it would just turn all the way to normally unlock and make noise but just not enough to unlock, and the sucky thing is the passenger door doesn't unlock with the key at all

so what i had to do was crawl in through the hatch, not fun. and then even from the inside the door would not unlock all the way.

Any ideas? or just live with it till spring?

Yah, this happens to me once in a while too, although, I park in an underground parking garage, so it thaws every night. I bet if you get some WD40 and spray it into the lock cylinder and lock mechanism it should clear it right up.

I've never had that with the locks, when it was still warm i had sprayed some WD-40 in there. But i don't have electric locks either. But what i get is when it's cold enough, the headlights get stuck in the up position till the car warms up.
