^^ that is usually how it goes. most guys don't know how to drive FWD cars with MAD torque. you can see in my numbers that i make over 400lbs of tq. and all that tq is under 3500rpm. yeah fun

Il agree with that, If I was into racing more I would just buy an STI or EVO its hard to beat AWD launches.

I agree. I have seen how AWDs jump a car length off the line. It almost doesn't seem real. I guess the weakness in the Srt-4 would be it's high torque and front wheel drive? So does anyone have a moderate idea of what it would take for a CA to eat an Srt-4? Could it be done with 240hp RWD? or would the torque in the neon still take it. I was looking to get 300hp out of my CA but that will be later once I get use to the stock set-up as well as turbos. I heard of VW 1.8t with some mild mods beating SRt-4s. I know different car and engine but just thinking about disp.

the 1.8 t's beat the SRT's mainly due to the gearing. do you know in the 1/4 mile the 1.8t's shift TWICE. only twice. they have a really strong bottom end but the transmissions and axles are needing to be upgraded.

i have not seen a working CA in real life yet. let alone race one. so i really don't know how the CA really drives and how it runs. but i would expect with a good driver on both ends on good tires and take off's 250hp should take a SRT off the line (being RWD and all) and depending on what is done to the CA it should beable to hold it on the top end. but just a reminder 50mph+ is where the SRT really shines. 50-120 is awesome on the SRT, so you would have to have the right top end mods to the CA to keep the lead
