yeah, you can adjust the decel air to a lower fuel percentage when the computer sees less than 1% throttle. that way the car isnt trying to run extremely rich when you let off. i still get a little back firing every once in a while, but i think i can tune it out.

most cars with a hotwire maf will drop well below idle when you let off the throttle from higher rpms. if yours doesnt drop below idle, i am surprised.

you can adjust your idle without any extra computers. just adjust your idle screw.

ehh, if you arent having any issues with stalling because of the bov yet, you probably wont. ive never understood completely why some will stall, and some wont. i think it has to do with the differences in a diaphram style bov, and a piston style bov.

yeah that makes sense about the different bovs, someone told me that the reason mine ran fine was because the black top's newer ecu can handle it but i dont think i buy that

umm the real way to do decel air is this

start the car cold.

let it gain oil pressure

find NE point 1 and NE point 2 (they are the first two rpm points you adjust fuel at. EX: my first NE point is at 1000 second one at 2000

go to the monitor screen and set it for 3 way with RPM AFL and THR %.

raise RPMs to NE 1s point. check the AFL number. that is the number used in Decel air for NE 1

raise RPMs to NE 2 point. Check the AFL. That is the number used in Decel Air for NE 2.

the last Number in decel air is the pecent of throttle. while monitoring the rpms at ne point 2 check the throttle percent. add a few to it. EX: at NE 2 it is 10 percent, so 12 is what you would put in.

btw Apexi didnt tell me ****. I translated my JDM version manual for this.

And dont knock SAFC cuz its actuall usefull for minor corrections with rom chipping.

have a wonderful day ppl <3.
