I love doing a perfect drift and seeing it on the replay. ( I'm glad i' m not the only one) I have one saved that I watch sometimes its on the track w/continuous turns and the corkscrew. 1 perfect all drift lap in the white trueno. sadly the last turn before the replay ends I lost it, but still I love GT3 drifting!!!:arcadefre

Along with an R32 GTR, I also have a 180sx Type-x, FC3S, Trueno, MR2 SW20, and Altezza that I use as my main drifting cars. I've gotten fairly good and I can't wait till GT4's drift-specific play modes! ;)

in one of these vids a guy does the most amazing move he does a 360 spin and transitions perfectly into a drift in the first corner of Laguna Seca (in a Tommy Kaira ZZII) :shocked2 :shocked2 :shocked2

I use an EVO V, a Trueno Apex SS Version, a R34 GT-R or a FD. I usually try and grip drive tho...

Do ya'll use wheels or the ****ty little controllers? I've been using the controller when I play and the only thing that gets me winning is a fast car, it sure as heck isn't the driving. I need to buy my roommate a wheel just so I can use it...

you have to actually try to get the liscense without cheating to become good at the game.

as far as drifting, a s13 2000cc Silvia tuned to 280hp is always what i use, i have gotten so used to the car drifting is real easy.

I use my 406 horsepower S15 to drift.

I prefer the control stick over the wheel, personally.

i never use the Ebrake to drift, you have to put traction control and stability managment at 0 and learn how to press the buttons right (pressure sensitive remember). Then you just have to play around with difforent suspension settings and tire choice.

yeah i played around with that but i couldnt get it to work as good as just carrying the correct amount of speed into a turn and modulating the throttle. With no traction control its easy to get the rear wheels-A-spinin' :)

the shingo GT Apex AE86 (the initial D car) wasnt as good at drifting as i expected, i get mush better results with the s13. same with the R32 GTS-t.

I try, but its hard with the controller, I need to invest in a G-Force wheel so I can join the ranks :).

My controller sucks, you have to mash the gas button to get it to go initially. Oh, BTW does anyone know how I can get the Trueno with the black hood. I cant think of the name right now, but I know its usually in the begginers league 80's car cup races. If someone could help me with that I'd love 'em bunches.:D

I never use e-brake to initiate drift in GT3. I have a wheel and pedals, so I set up the car to oversteer, buy simulation tires, and then use feint to initiate the drift. I use a ~250hp AE86, and a 254HP S13 and when you set up the suspension right they both perform about the same.
