I know this isn't RB specific, but was wondering if anyone was going to the show to race in march. Ill be there. Would be sweet to see a couple other RB powered sx's. There are a few fast zcars that are RB'ed.

Always nice to get to see other cars that are done, so I can steal ideas LOL.

It would be killer if you guys could go! Its a freaking blast. I have buddies from Georgia, alabama, florida... freakin everywhere that I go down to see. I know of two other guys that may be going from MI and ohio too.

No breakage yet! Thankfully.

Thats how I always am too, if I'm there and there is racing I want to join...

I hate the idea of the trailering because the drive there is half the fun.... I need to find a free tow truck to just follow me around. If I'm under 300 miles from home its all good, my buddy has AAA.

just outside washington dc.

i have no doubts about my car making it there and back, just a little afraid to launch it at the track. if i go i'm gonna want to run, which means i'll be bringing slicks/skinnies.. so things are probably going to break

The only concern would be parts. I know of a handfull of guys who bring trailers with tools so thats no problem.

i share a wheel setup with my friend who has an FC. it's a pair of ET street bias plies... 26x11.5x16 on mustang wheels. fronts are bias plies on FC 16" alloy spares...

i guess i could source an extra set of axles... then i'd need to find them. what axles do you have? my car's got the stock non-vlsd/non-abs pumpkin and stock axles, s14. we'll see when the event gets closer.

Well, my car had the stock non abs open diff and thats what the axles are for. I do have a q45 rear but nothing else was involved as far as axle swap.

If you broke an axle and I did not, I would gladly give them to you so you weren't stranded.

Do you know if driver and passenger side are the same length? I would bring a pair.

thanks for the offer.. thats the only thing i really can forsee breaking. Pretty sure pass/driver side are different lengths cuz the diff isn't symmetrical. Don't quote me on that though. I'll talk to some friends and see if they're interested in heading down. Definitely looks like a cool event

Yeah, it would be nice to have several sets down there for guys snapping axles.

My only concern would be ponying up my axles then breaking one myself LOL.

I have enough buddies down there where I know I could get one if I was really in a jam.

driver side axle is shorter than the passenger side on the q45, 300zx, R32-33 rear ends. Not sure about the 240's though.
