Im guessing that you have done a side by side comparison with a um... Defi?TheRealNap0le0n wrote:Defi gauge knock off..... cheap gauges are not as accurate as the real ones.... you get what you pay for. Just because the gauge moves doesnt mean its right
I stated they are Defi knock offs and then i stated that cheap gauges arent as accurate as the "more expensive/ name brand gauges"Morph wrote:

Sorry dude not trying to be a d!ck but im friggin tired of people have have no expirence with a product saying it sucks b/c its not Greddy or Blitz.
I just said i ran autometer... i never said they were inaccurate.Lonismos14 wrote:BTW glowshift is not ebay.
Autometer is the company that started the whole aftermarket gauge scene and your saying there inaccurate and cheap.
I had autometer and glowshift side by side the readings were just as accurate. So i didnt just make a guest that they are accurate. Im speaking from a tested point of view.
Now one thing i can agree with you on is how long will it last, i highly doubt it will out last autometer. I just wanted all of my gauges the same.
Alright lets see your gauges, o thats right you dont have none, so shut up and goodbye stock guy.TheRealNap0le0n wrote:glowshift is cheap bro.... and gay. Driving around with glowshift gauges and thinking you're cool is like walking around at night with a glow-in-the-dark dildo in your a** and thinking you look cool.
and im not gunna get butt hurt.... like i said its your car. do what you want im just stating facts.
.... is it that important to attack me dude.... really.Lonismos14 wrote:

i've done more than junkyard brakes guy... i just havent posted most of what i've done.Lonismos14 wrote:If Greddy, Hks, Nardi, And KYB and Glowshift and efi specialist is ebay, then yea its a ebay car.
And stop sounding so dumb there is nothing wrong with ebay.
My brothers car is still better than your pos. Your a hater cause your car is a POS. Thats why you try to point out things on other people's cars cause in fact you have nothing done to yours but some junk yard brakes. That are cheap.
SYKE.... Greddy manifold vs Freddy manifold there are differences but the average street tuner isnt going to notice them, IE the outside looks the same... what about the inside... IE casting imperfections... slight fitment issues..s13-t wrote:Does glowshift even make an electric boost gauge? I want wires through the fire wall, not a capillary tube.
Defi gauges are a NAME. Its like spending 800 bucks for a greddy manifold when the isis manifold is the same cast and less than $200.
I used to have an autometer cobalt electric boost gauge that was pretty sick. I may just go shell out 200 bucks for another one.
i dont believe that they do.as far as i know all there boost gauges are manual. my boost gauge is.s13-t wrote:Does glowshift even make an electric boost gauge? I want wires through the fire wall, not a capillary tube.
#1 most people (i hope) arent that stupid. they would know their car should be warm by a certain timeTheRealNap0le0n wrote:
what if the wiring or fuse on your elec temp gauge fails and you think your car is taking forever to warm up when its actually overheating....
but those were mechanical gauges right?jeff420 wrote: fyi i bought my autometer gauges for ~50 each at a local shop.
glowshift FTW what series did you get?Lonismos14 wrote:Just got through placing my last order with glow shift.
I just found out they come with a one year warranty free replacement.
i have the tinted seven color series. boost, air/fuel, and oil pressure.i have the tri gauge piller with it.i just took them out today though cause i didnt like how i had messy wires so i took them out to clean them up a bit.Lonismos14 wrote:I got the tinted version i think they are sweet.
I already had boost and oil pressure but i tested them side by side with the autometer, cause i was skeptical. but the were having the same reading so i ordered the resst of them.
Water, oil temp.
What series and guages do you have from them.
