Like everyone else has stated, you dont need an sr to drift. In fact it will hinder your learning. Its not easy to drift a 155hp car and you want to drift a 450hp car? Get yourself an lsd(nismo, tomei, kaaz), some tires, some coilovers or even a nice shock/spring combo and stiffen up the chassis. If you become really good at drifting, then you might want to add more power.

i'm a bit late to this thread and i know i'm not THE person to make any solid claims or know enough to spew technical stuff but. . .

All the mods there are only good for hp and going straight since you didn't list any suspension mods at all. Drifting involves going around corners and such and having high hp WILL mess you up; drifiting, autocrossing, whatever.

I think the best thing for you to do is buy an LSD, buy craploads of suspension mods and work with that until you can control your car fine. Then, slowly add the power mods.

Try this in any racing game; deck out a car and run it through a course and see how hard it is to stay on a track, let alone drift. Then, keep it basically stock and you'll find it easier to drive

plus, laying off the power mods will save you money and keep you from needlessly flying over the place with 450hp at the pedal. . .

I think a good plan for an S drift car is to get hp to 280-300, then build the suspension as you get better. After the suspension is built, then step up the power. Power is nothing if you can't handle it.
