You probably measured the widths of the wheels with a tape measure across the distance from one outer lip to the other, correct? Wheels are actually not measured that way, but instead from the inner bead lip. Thus, an 8" wide wheel as specified by a manufacturer, would measure out to around 9", give or take, across the whole width, including the rims/lips. How much did you end up having to space the wheels? And can you easily drive it and do full lock turns?

no spacers...it actually fit better then i expected since you were saying that it wouldn't fit. as for the turning i can't make full turns because it hits that lip thing in the fender well... i just need to hit that down then i should be able to make full turns...

i CAN NOT understand why people do this? why would you put a bunch of time and effort into a project car just to turn around and sell it. you just got it finished and now you want to get rid of it? it's like when i see a car in a magazine and then a few weeks later i see the same car on ebay!

sorry, i don't mean to go on an off-topic rant. i think you should just keep the car and enjoy it for a while.

if you're bent on selling it, it's hard to determine a "reasonable" price. you just put a ton of parts into it and a lot of hours. what's that worth? i'd say a good clean shell with 100-150k miles is worth $3500 as a base. then add money for aftermarket/jdm stuff and come up with a price.

good luck either way.

I don't quite understand this concept either...unless one is in a ****ty financial situation. ZFever did the same exact thing with their vert. As soon as they got it in Modified Mag, I saw that thing on Ebay.

I have never even read this thread which is pretty rare because i'm on here every day lol.

you car came out amzaing and it also came out fast! you must have put alot of money into the car at least 20k how much do you plan on saleing it for? you might take a big lost i'm not sure what car's go for in hawai.

as for why people sell there cars on ebay right after it was featuerd in a magazine is because it's the best time to get top dollar for there car.

you need to talke what you put into the car and that should give you a good idea on what price you should let it go for.

We all know that all the time and money invested in a car will never be retreived but realisticly I could see you selling it for $12,000So how much are you actually selling it for?

Glad to see that your keeping the car. you wont regret it if you would have tried to sale it you would have lost big time. 1. you wont have a sick vert and 2. you would have lost a lot of money.

im sure it will look absolutely tits after you fine tune suspension and ride height. ONLY other thing that kinda could might be considered for improvement in my book is taking out the Silvia grill and put a GTR on in there, or even jus leave it out all together.

Still, the car looks AMAZING
