I have been inside of the XS power turbo, and taken measurements. I cannot see a material difference. The only difference can be a difference in material. Basically, I would use one, as long as it wasn't the ball bearing ones.

You have a base map, so now you can get rid of that FMU. If you search the Yahoo! group, they have a write-up on making your own ignition harness. I think it uses the Prelude or RX-7's radio reverse harness. But Mohdparts.com sells them at a reasonable price.
