no i mean, your young, if you have money to spend on your car do it now, cuz once you get bills/ more responsibilities it will be alot harder.

just do your research and try to upgrade only ONCE. that's the best advice to take. do what you want, not what we tell you

dont do a turbo kit, you will be motor'less and broke in months.

buy some coils.pull the ka, clean it up..do a wire tuck and then save for some wheels.

ohh OK yea i want to do everything right the first time its just i dont know what to buy, at that point in time, either save up the extra 700-800 bucks to add on to get the sr or to buy coil-overs ( 1000 ) and then put the 600 left over towards the sr....either way it will happen eventually. i mean people say do suspension and stuff like that first right? Thanks again guys

I think the answer is obvious by now.

EDIT: Okay, the topic has moved.

Obviously, I'm going to say PBM, but you would need to preorder them VERY soon. They're getting their next shipment in probably next week or so.

DMAX, Stance, JIC, Fortune Auto would also be good.

First i wanna say that i was like you once but i make up my mind.Get the coils, i went D2's they are great! and second get the 300zx front brakes and new rotors , the rear 300zx brakes are useless and it will cost u more $, so yea coilovers, and brakes. Then i would say switch power plant. I'm thinking going 1JZ GTE, but i dnt know cuz i just did a compression test on my KA24DE and came out 170 psi for all four and the engine has 123k. so i have to decide what is more realible.

Now I'm curious.

Oh ye of infinite wisdom. Why are rear 300ZX brakes useless?

I'm guessing stock single piston S13 and S14 rears are superior?

what i mean is that for it purpose is difficult to install in a 240sx and also u need to replace the BMC whih mean more $ and the e-brake is separate, if u ever took a close look to the 240's rear brake they are unique man !!!they have the e-brake attatch to it and it will do the trix as the rear 300zx will PS: WHAT REALLY MATTERS ARE THE FRONT BRAKE (PERIOD)

Holy s***! They have ebrakes!?

Because god forbid you have to spend extra money to get a Z32 BMC to get better braking.

Joe, and anyone for that matter, do not listen to this idiot.

Is it just me or the photos, or does your front end lean toward the driver side?

I would also agree that it would be smart to start upgrading the suspension of the car with coilovers and bushings.

The statement made about the Z32 brakes is very true! You will feel a lot of difference in upgrading just the front brakes with Z32 calipers, pads, rotors, and SS brake lines, but you will not feel much of a difference when upgrading both the front and rear with Z32 brakes. Keep in mind you will probably want to upgrade the BMC (Brake Master Cylinder) to a Z32 one as well even if you are only upgrading the fronts. The only notable difference I found with having upgraded the rear with Z32 brakes is when pulling the E-Brake which is a shoe on the Z32 setup and provides better response. The rear brake upgrade is very expensive and not needed unless you really want to blow the money. I have an S14 with Z32 brakes all around and another S14 with just the front Z32 upgrades so I know what I'm talking about here. You are looking at spending over $600 just to upgrade the rear brakes if you want to do it right. It should only cost you around $300 to do just the fronts if you do it yourself.

So, your order list:1) Coilovers 2) Bushings3) Z32 Front Calipers (26mm or 30mm)4) Z32 (matching) Front Rotors5) Z32 Front Brake Pads6) S13 to Z32 Stainless Steel Brake Lines7) Z32 BMC (Brake Master Cylinder)

Good luck and take your time and search through the classifieds for some good deals!
