hey im going to make this quick for now.

i totalled my car today. traffic was stopped when i looked up and my brakes just locked up. so i think im going to try to rebuild it. im going to post pics tonight maybe.. but i want to know if anyone has a rhd s14 clip that they want to get rid of. i think that would fix my problem fast. anyways. sorry for wrecking a 98 240sx. but im going to fix it oh and no one was hurt. not even the lady that was pregnant that was due tomorrow. thank god.

i dont think there is much frame damage. i cant tell cause i dont even have it home yet. but it missed the frame in the wreck. went straight to the radiator support.

awww man, that sucks but s*** happens...I hope the frame rails aren't bent but it looks like most of the damage was up top destroying the radiator support and the fender wells.

so explain to me how the orange 95 would have helped me in this situation? im really curious on this cause first of all the 95 had just as bad as damage and was also a zenki. im confused

ya it for sure is just up top. but im going to probably use the frame rails from the clip cause mine were already messed up. but im a certified welder and have a welder so i should be alright on that. plus i know how to use a measuring tape lol.

that should be fine, just stitch weld the whole front clip on. how much are the front clips you are looking at? I was looking for a s14 sr20det about a month ago when my ka blew but i couldn't find one for less than 2K so I just went ahead and rebuilt my ka for 1200 bux.

yeah i didnt see the "damage" because the car was in 5000 pieces.

so it was zenki.. all the under the hood parts would be the same as the kouki.

ya i saw your thread. im finding them for around 3000ish. hopefully i can get one a little cheaper cause i have no use for an sr. but the dude ^^^^ above might be my new best friend

there was before pics in that thread. i know you and a lot of other people were mad about that. but i had no other choice. i had to get rid of it and tried giving it away. so you really cant blame me. i still have a ton of parts off of it that are good. and have been selling a lot im sure you have seen. so lets not make me a bad guy

no im going to fix it im set on it. i think i should be able to do it for a little over 1000. and thats better than losing out on a ton of money. cause i didnt have full coverage on it.

you know i might have been but i think i was looking at my stereo. i completely forgot what i was doing when i was looking down. cause when looked up i had bigger problems. flame if you want but im just taking this as a lesson learned.

what does this have to do with anything? completely unrelated. i don't feel bad at all. had you been paying attention, you would have seen cars stopping/stopped long before you had to slam on your brakes and lock them up. good luck fixing it, hope a lesson in awareness was learned.
