As for why I didn't reuse the stock tips? Well I didn't want to mess with the stock exhaust, and second.. I don't like them They're OK but I don't like how the actual small inner diameter is visible inside that large tip.. if you get what I mean? And I like the larger more aggressive look of the aftermarket tips I got (which no doubt are overpriced at $40 but hey they look good and in total everything cost me $300 start to finish).

Ok so kind of 4 month report - no issues, no noise citations (it's pretty tame under normal driving). The only thing I noticed is the right side exhaust tip is dirtier and more dull now (not as shiny) even after trying to clean it. I blame that on the path the exhaust gases take coming into the muffler from the left side, side and finding it easier to exit the right, which exposes the left side much less to heat/etc.

Yea I'm here in south Arlington if you wanna come by, or meet me somewhere half way... I work in Plano so it's a HELL of a lame boring drive home, showing off my exhaust might be a nice break from routine.

I can always hope for a sponsorship. But I won't quit my day job. Actually I was just talking to a member off here the other night about debadging, at least the dealer label.

And yes 5 months later the ebay exhaust is still running great, just gotta clean up the tips though, they're getting real dirty from exhaust fumes/carbon. Was actually gonna have the huge resonator removed with a straight pipe and see if that brings some more of a beefier grunt into the sound without too much of an annoying drone inside.

So far, I do not have any mods at all.

I looked at this whole thread and saw you were working in Arlington! I will be moving to Dallas for a job in 2-3 weeks. I will be around the north downtown area. And I will be getting 35% tint all around probably before I move to Dallas.

Do you go to a local car meet or something? I would like to take a look at the exhaust.

I watched the youtube clip and heard the sound of it. It sounds great haha. Plus it's extremely cheap!

Hey! I just read your post on here. Yah the exhaust I have comes and goes on Ebay so keep an eye out..I just did a search, it's not listed on there, so maybe check again in a few weeks. Looks like they are selling (amazingly haha.... too bad I dont see ANY in DFW).

Actually that other meet was my first one, and I think a first for DFW Coupes in general, so we planned on having another one soon but you can always meet up on the weekends for a short show and tell.
