did some thangz today so i wanna show my work and progress

sanded down drivers side quarter panel

took the tails out and primed behind there that place

better look when finished priming the rear

oh and this!..this is a b****!!.hardest thing i did so far is take off the rear bumper

wet sanded the drivers quarter panel

and then primed it again

passenger side quarter panel ready for sanding

didnt take a pic of the 80 grit sanding and the 160 grit so heres the 400 grit finished and ready for primer

some weather coming in and getting a little dark as well so that was it for today.

both sides rear quarter panels are sanded primed twice and the rear bumper as well...hopefully for tomorrow ill have the rear bumper painted so i can show you guys a sample of what color it"ll be in the future...all comments and suggestions welcome!!

It looks good. If you clear coat and wet sand a bit You could really make it shine...

Not really... You kind of just suck at a "build" thread. I'm being dead serious too. I'm trying not to be a d!ck but I'm being honest, why would you want feedback on such a failure? DO YOUR RESEARCH. This is horrible dude... the biggest failure is that you forgot the hardener?!?!? Like WTF!? Cmon dude...

haha people don't think threads are interesting anymore unless youre spendink buku (sp?) bucks. Looks like your car is coming along nicely though i want to re spray mine too did you rattle can it or use a gun? It looks pretty good but its always hard to tell in pictures and especially bad pics heh you need a camera. I dont have any rust to deal with though, thankfully. At least your lucky chassis is getting saved/restored.

What are your plans for the car does it run well? Are you keeping your engine (ka24e im assuming i think you said it was pig) or swapping it? Plan on dd or track car? Nice effort makes me want to do something with mine.

the car used to have a s13 blacktop sr20 in it and it ran like a brand new Prius ...well my buddy kept the motor and now im woring on the shell to drop another sr in it...for right now i want something that is reliable as a DD but also can get down and run 13s on the track which i dont think is going to be hard at all considering all sr guys i have spoke to run mid 13s stock...for right now my plan is to finish this body and ready for a motor

like someone said before, that people aren't as impressed unless you're putting big bucks into a project. whatever, I'M impressed. maybe because I'm cheap lol. but I love how you're doing everything on you're own. The paint does look really good, and I'm taking note, because my car could really use some paint and I'd rather do it by my self than take it in

Thanks man...yeah i like how the paint actually came out the pics dont do it that much justice but i think it came out really good...its not that i was being cheap or anything cuz i already spent like $200 on stuff but i just wanted something to do while i save up for the motor and i just wanted to learn really

how were the frame rails? Judging by the rust on the pass side floor, looks like the frame rails would be dicey?
