We've lost like, what, three in the past month? And it hasn't even started snowing yet. EVERYONE! Garage your verts now and break out the old Jeep. Satan is on the move and wants convertibles for him and his lawyer buddies.

Maybe I'm just hopelessly optimistic, but all I see is a future intercooler and Silvia front-end.

IF you do buy it back and IF you do part it out and IF your top frame is in good shape, i'd probably buy it from you.

let me know IF all the IF's work out in my favor by emailing me:

thanks.

I still say you can fix that. Hell, my vert's front tire was pushed back to roughly my trunk and that engine will still probably run.

Can I have your strut bar or intake? >_>

im not too worried about the engine runing as i am the car driving right.... This car will NEVER drive the same as it did before the wreck, and i will be auto-xign my next car as well, so i need something that handles right not close. I was also thinking of swaping the KA in my vert into a hatch shell with a MT. Settlement is taking a long time still but i will keep you guys posted on prices and things i will be selling if/when i buy back.

I'm with you 100% that car will never be the same if the fix it.. try to find a coupe sheel and put the motor in that. buy a base model with no power windows and sunroof. it's the lightest of the 240's and great for auto x

I disagree, it can be redone, and it will be right. the only issue is cost. Nissan used about 3-4 panels for the inner fender. My wife's old vert was hit exactly the same way and damage. My buddy collision expert) said it would be fine but the cost would be high. You're looking at about 2500-3500 to repair, depending on paint. I wish I had kept the car and done it, but we were moving in 2 mo halfway across the country. If you don't want to maybe consider selling it to someone who does want to, if I remember right it was rust free good shell right?
