Another 240sx dies

Well... I totalled my 91 240sx. It was my fault to. So let the flames begin if you so desire. I was street racing for my first time ever. I usually go to a track but I figured what the hell. I'll only do it once. Well I raced a Scooby Forester. I end up pulling ahead of the guy but a turn came up and i was going to fast and end up hitting a tree, totaling my 240sx.

I will try to get pictures ASAP but I got a fractured leg, and the rest of my body is pretty well bruised so it might be some time for then. I will miss my 240sx very deeply. And after i recover I plan to get a newer 240sx hopefully either a 98 or 97.

Right now I have only 1 car to drive and thats my old 63 Corvair which I am trying to sell because i can't take care of it.

For now here is a picture about 5 months prior to the accident.

I'm going to rest now, and cry because i still love my S13.

okay let me list your mistakes... first u raced a forester...then u still kept going after u beat it. then u didnt slow down. then u crashed. then u said u will get pics of the totalled car and u added asap to it. then u said sumthing about being injured that we dont care about. then u said u plan to recover. the u want to replace your 240sx. then u talked about a covair that we dont care about. then u want to show us a picture of a beautiful car that u have destoyed. then u said u are going to rest. then u said u were going to cry which makes u look like a sissy. then u said u love a car that u totalled. then u ask fr condolences. then u spell condolences wrong. and the biggest mistake u ever made was posting about it and asking for us to flame u.

well i don like typing a whole word out when it is easier to use simple abbreviations. heres a list.you-uare-rtwo,to,too-2for,four-4now isnt that a lot easier?

hmm well streetracing is bad yes but there are ways to do it right. first of all if u know u have beat a car then u can slow down and if u get beat then dont try to keep on going cuz the simple fact is that u still wont beat it. and well if u have to pick ur opponents then pick them well. why a subaru forester? u cud instead race a honda civic with nos and watch him blow up his engine.

you flame on him for racing a subaru forester and then you tell him he shouldve raced a civic?? the subaru would probly be more competion than the civic........its good to hear you didnt kill yourself man, everyone messes up and im sure the people who are trying to flame you for it have done even more stupid **** than what you did, but they just didnt mess up bad enough to total their car like you did...also, i hate to tell people they shouldnt be street racing , it true of course, but i know almost everybody here is probly guilty of it in some way/shape or form, including myself

Blah it's only an S13, probably worth $500 dollars anyways. Plus theres a whole armada of S13's out there so you can get another one at least. Nothing to cry about.

anyways, street racing is not that great of an idea, but i do it anyways cuz i'm dumb...but anyhow, that was dumb to race a forester, what were you thinking?

i smoked a primered civic in a YELLOW mini cooper S! lmao, last night, but i only did it to put him in his place...i got told off by my girl afterwards :'(

Hey, I owned 2 '65 Corvairs, loved them both.But I'm not gonna flame you , Myrk. I'm glad you survived the crash, and it sounds like you won't street race again, which is good. A 240sx can be easily replaced, you can't. Good luck on finding a new 240

Sorry to hear about you accident, despite what some of these jerks say, you should just be glad you survived, learn your lesson, and move on. First step to moving on is, of course, getting a new 240sx

I don't mean to get into the street racing problem here, but there is no safe form of street racing. It is not a controlled environment. The safest (still not safe) would be to go to the desert at 4am where you can see miles around you. NEVER is it safe to race on city streets. As I am sure some of you remember, my friend is currently in jail for vehicular manslaughter because he was street racing and the other guy was on a GSXR, hit a bottle, and liquified his body on a 2 foot thick concrete sign. If you street race, you deserve to crash, maybe you'll get a clue. I hope Myrk does, it sounds like it was just a moment of weakness for him.

Yes I know i was being a dumbass. I've learned my lesson the hard way.

Thanx to those that cared. This is my first major crash, and hopefully my last. In a few days I'll start looking for a new 240sx.

To those that didn't care and flamed me. I deserved it. Everyone makes mistakes, and this is mine.

K1LLA916K: I'm not sure what you mean by 1st degree murder. Since I was the only one in the car. And i was in no means of selling my car anytime soon to anyone.

when i was looking for 240s there were absolutely no s13 dohc around that i could find. I looked for 6 months and all i found were millions of s14s. I had to settle with my sohc coupe which i love dearly now but s13s are old and starting to die. Its sad to see one go. It will be missed

ey man im jus messin with your head cuz u said its okay to flame u. bsides man im nobody to flame u anywayz. i streetrace all the time with my auto 88 sentra with 90 stock horsepower. yea im stupid too but hey everything happens for a reason. the allwheel drive gods were jealous. anywas man get better and remember next time u streetrace atleast have sumthing worth racing for. put money on the line or if u are doing it for fun then do it sumwhere with no people and long stretch of straight roads with no cars. in sacramento there are illegal races every friday and saturday night. however we do it behind an industrial area far from the city. no cars or pedestrians and all the factories are closed at 8pm so we start around 12. oh yeah the only problem is there are only 2 exits out of there and about 6 cop cars seem to arrive around 1:30 all the freakin time.

Are you sure? Where do you live maybe it's the area. Over here I see at least 10 s13's a day. Not kidding a day, just driving randomly not even trying to spot them. I also get to see a few coupes, ones that I think are the rarest and coolest of the s13's.

Thanx all. I just felt like i deserved to get flamed. I usually don't street race at all. I guess was a spur the moment or something. But anyways I've learned my lesson. I will always take it to the track. And I hope people read this also about my mistake so no one else does the same.

Also I got some pictures of the wreck now. Mom says I'm lucky to be alive. The car is going to the junk yard sometime soon. So i'll probably go there when i heal up and find anything else that i might have left. If anyone is willing to host these pix for me to show my stupidity. Thanx
