Now at 100,000 miles, I think I am overdue for replacement struts. Mine is a 2000 Anniversary edition with the adjustable suspension. I checked on Infiniti Parts USA and from what I can see the struts for this are $221 each. Is this consistent with what others have found as I expected them to be more expensive. I realize I will also need strut mounts etc.

Has anyone carried out a Touring or Anniversary edition suspension rehab and if so what was the total list of parts used.

I believe you will find that is the non-touring model front strut price.

Call tomorrow as there is a sale that will lower your price for the front touring struts, bearings, and the rear touring shocks and all four gaiters.

With early Q [90-96] when you add upper links, tension rods, shocks boots seats, king pin bushings. lower arms [to get new bushings] you end with $1000 for parts on each front wheel every 60-100k.

If you want like new performance and ride the only solution is lots of new parts.

Yep, my list is the absolute minimum that needs to be replaced. An inspection on the rack will reveal more. Don't ignore steering rack bushings nor anti-sway bar mounting bushings.

Well, here's a thread I started, but never quite finished as the weather was terrible and I was sick.

There may be something of use to you there. I've done exactly what you're about to, albeit 70k ago and ready to do it again, but feel free to email me with any questions at all.

Also, those wheel speed sensors I had to replace. They were impossible to remove. Add another $250 to your parts list if you haven't already.

Be VERY CAREFUL with the allen bolts in the links. They strip easily. Lube them the night before - I know everyone says that frequently, but I MEAN IT.

I figured as much but the web site shows both at the same price. Obviously a typo

Thanks for the information. I can see this is not for the faint of heart. What was the ride and handling like after you completed everything?

It was a dream come true. However, I believe I made a rookie mistake of torquing my tension arm bolt when the wheel wasn't under load. I think they've already failed in only 20k and need to be replaced again. Lesson learned.
