I'm taking a decent amount of pictures now, someone else was supposed take all my pictures so I could work.Mostly though, I was wondering if you bolted-on some crossmember, or made one. I prefere to just bolt up something, but unless you've found something that just works I'm going to make one. Oh, I used a pathfinder clutch pedal because I wanted them grouped together closer and it has about the largest offset of any nissan pedals I could find, had to change almost everything on it though, took half a day to make. I hope I have time to start a thread for it, if I don't, Wes will.

Been really busy of late, no real chance to even finish the knock sensor/fuel rail/underplenum hose job R&R on the green Q, so the manual swap has been put on the back burner for a few days.

Hell, I still have to send off the plenum bolts for Morgan and never really heard back from Maxnix on the runner that I sent,(if you read this Brian, let me know if you got it in).

I'm still tinkering with going ahead with a top-feed fuel injector conversion while I'm at it but I need to adjust my rom file for the 460cc injectors that I'll be using.(RX7 is getting a VH45DE as well, so I had 8, basically free, 460cc hi-imp injectors for the top feed project)
A top feed injector would not be that difficult...thats what these cars need.

If your interested in working on this I could probably help.....I have lots of experiance with injector conversions.........the trick will be to use the stock manifold.

The problem here is that without new motor mounts and driveshaft bearing, true alignment will be difficult to acheive.

Man, I thought I sent you an email. Muchas Gracias. Did you get mine?

Nope, but I'm glad you finally got it. Sorry it wasn't too clean on the inside, I just grabbed it out of the parts bin and rushed off to UPS to ship it out.

The port in the top of the intake manifolds have to be recessed to let the top-feed injector sit lower in the runner to allow clearance for the fuel rail itself.

He'll get back to you, did "Paul Wall" say he wants to ban me for no pics or video? There's a link to my pics right up there, wtf!? Anyway, Wes has his car, he's happy. and I'm Happy. Oh yeah, his car's fast as crap, good luck hanging-with all that when his NOS is working again. I'm out unless someone's got questions for me, Wes can take it from here.

That was a joke, to get you to post the pictures. And I can't ban you because I don't posses the power "Yet"

well 4th gear is exactly the same as 3rd gear on the AT 1:1 (2000 RPM is about 42MPH), 5th gear 2000 RPM is about 58MPH vs 63MPH..

It cruises a little higher RPM (2500 in 5th is 73MPH vs 79MPH on the stock car).

play with this...

http://home.netcom.com/~sgalaba/mph.htm

Stock 4th gear on the AT is .69:1, 5th gear on the Z trans is .75:1

The higher cruising RPM is negated LONG ago by lower drivetrain losses and the clutch always being engaged 100% vs the torque converter slipping except when its locked up.

Raxephon, just so you know the Z32 and Q45 output shafts/yokes on the driveshaft are the same, all you need to do is make the shaft about 6 inches longer.

Hey, does that mean I don't need to look for a Z32 driveshaft? I would just need to have a driveshaft shop lengthen the Q45 driveshaft? Thats awesome!

yep, i dont know if thats the story wiht the TT trans, but im using an N/A trans and thats the story.

I would recommend having powertrain industries build you one, and they can easily lengthen one for you... having rebuildable U joints and all that stuff is nice, and i dont like that stupid flex coupling the Q driveshaft has.

Can you give any specifics/pics of your parking brake setup? I would like to do a 5-speed swap on my G50, but mounting the handbrake is the one thing that might stop me. I would ideally like mine to look like it's stock, no ugly brackets and such visible.

Oh, also what did you do for the trans mount? I didn't see that mentioned.
