It's not about looking like a BMW, it's all about better looking and "this is mine and it's different" - you should have understood this since you are on this forum. You don't like mods - Ok, it's your choice. But instead of nagging everyone, let's give some positive feedback and ideas for those willing to be ahead of the rest of us and willing to have a better (looking and/or powered) V.Red Devil wrote:Meh, I don't get the whole "Let's make our headlights look like BMW ones even though it'll never look half as good as a real BMW" trend of those headlights.
You ALWAYS try to create conflicts with your personal opinion. What about a good advice instead of "do not mod, it's just a DD, buy a better car, etc...". What about some good words or trying to help in some ways? What about helping others when they have some questions about modding or new stuff for their car?Maybe you can create your own thread to deny any idea of modding the Versa.Red Devil wrote:So where did I nag? And why do I HAVE to provide positive feedback? I just said I don't get the idea or like them. Stop trying to create conflict.
Ok, never mind; it seems like you don't understand what I'm trying to say here.Keep on having fun!Red Devil wrote:So me helping the guy with the HID's wasn't helping?

I also tried to help some other people on here as well. You seem to conveniently ignore those posts.
I never try and start conflicts. It's the people like YOU, who seem to think that any criticism or lack of positive feedback automatically makes it a personal attack on people modding their cars. It's like I told you people before, I'm expressing my opinion. You can ignore it or say "Thanks, I never thought of it like that".
Like I said many times before, and it seems like some people get the message, I express my opinion about things when people ask for opinions. I can't say what's on my mind? How exactly was I trying to create conflict by saying I don't get the whole angel eyes thing?
See, the only conflict that gets started is when you and others who haven't wrapped their head around the idea that I can express my opinion about things, think me disagreeing or saying I don't like something is a personal attack on them or their philosophy about cars.
You act like you spotted me screwing your girl in your car, taking a dump in your air vents, slashing your tires, peeing on the doors, egging the roof whilst shouting racial slurs all the while.
Stop getting so worked up when I post. Use that time to think of something better to do than looking to start **** with me. Seriously, this whole, I post my opinion then you get butt hurt about it thing is getting old, and I'm getting tired of explaining it to dolts like you.
From what I can tell he never asked for an opinion. He asked if anyone knew where you could get them from. That's when you came in with what I would call a negative "comment" about his preference of head lights. You're also just adding to the fire and want conflict (from what I can tell) with your responses.Red Devil wrote:Like I said many times before, and it seems like some people get the message, I express my opinion about things when people ask for opinions. But hey I'm just expressing my opinion so don't act like I had sex with your mom while your car watched in the middle of a 240sx event while all your 240sx friends and cars watched.
That comment at the end must have went right over your head.Red Devil wrote:If you wanna have sex with my mom then go ahead. Shows your lack of taste in women I guess. And, it doesn't really make sense....
I never got on him about it. I merely stated that I did not understand why the trend is popular. In most non-BMW cars it looks kind of ridiculous. As far as adding fire to the flames, the entire conflict was said and done. It was over until, once again, you people come in and stir the pot. It's like you people can't leave well enough alone and try to actively get me upset and banned or something. It's really getting old, ya know.

Are those plug & play?Would you mind posting your experience with those headlight (quality, installing and driving experience)?NY.AD.MAN wrote:Yes. The projectors will fit the sedan, but rather than go for the headlights with the black housing, I prefer the look with the chrome housing (I have those installed-post pics up later on this week...)
