I built motors before but now I just moved into an apartment so i really have no place to rebuild my engine, which is sitting in storage of my apartment lol. And the wife almost had a cow when I told her I want to use the spare bed room as a work shop HAHAHA. Or would you rather have me stop by the shop with that question?
We are working on getting some SOHC love in the shop for you guys. For right now I can only guess at what that would cost. I would 'think' it would be about the same for a sohc, because it cost's roughly the same to do this to a 4g63, and most of the parts should be about equal in price. I will work on getting some more sohc stuff available asap.

That is exactly how we do it. When you decide you want to have a motor built we will take half down and gather all the parts and get it built while waiting for you cores to come in. Once it is done we give you a call and get the motor out to you asap!

every part you see in the 'crate motor' is available for sale in the online store as well, if there is something that you see that isn't please alert me and I will add it to the store or at least sell you one .

There is no need to send us your head and block if you would just like to pay the core charges. They are $250 a piece, or $500 for a block, front cover, servicable oil pump, sprockets, sprocket shaft, crank, rear main seal carrier, oil squirters, head and an upper front cover .

I could have that done, right now, in about 2.5 weeks.

I'm working on getting some spare cores that have already been machined so that the wait will be shorter.

thankschris

is there a flat rate on shipping...or depends on address. (considering lower 48 states)

Shipping will vary greatly depending on where you are shipping it to and also the address.

If it is in a residential area you can expect there to be a surcharge. There is also a surcharge for bringing out a 'lift-gate' truck if the address that it is being shipped to does not have a forklift to get the package off the semi.

If it is a business address and you have a forklift (or would like to get the pallet off the truck with one of you buddies) the shipping will generally be around $250.

thankschris

well in my case i would have to have it shipped to my house and i dont have a forklift, or even a pallet jack so what other option do i have? i was thinkin they get the pallet on the ground and just pick up the engine and get it on a stand and move it like that i guess

Your best bet would be to get the liftgate truck (so they can get it on the ground), and then use an engine lift or a couple buddies to get it onto and engine stand from there.
