Sounds very cool, and your car would be absolutely amazing if this came through even semi decent. I wish I could comprehend all those diagrams though

IMHO though, If I were going to be doing this much work to a car it would be a little project car for shows and such, definitely not a daily driver, because if something were to happen in the process of this conversion you'd be left without a car I don't know if you have a backup car but from the sounds of it you seem pretty knowledgeable in this area and seem to know the risks involved so the best of luck to you.

how much power loss would one assume would be lost by doing and AWD swap on a 270hp car?

20-25% from the few AWD auto's I have seen on a 4W dyno, so 203-216 hp @ all 4 wheels

yano... im not even surprised lol.... mehdi- truth be told my dad just bought a murano SL awd and I went on the murano forum to see about towing info w/ the cvt and i see a post from u asking members if they have the layout of the awd system on the fattened frame on the murano- and ppl just looked at u asking "wtf is this kid talkin about" lol

i'm not going to get involved with the other stuff but theoretically you could have a driveshaft where the exhaust tunnel is.... just get custom side exit exhaust... go true dual with 2 magnaflow mufflers like the Artisan exhaust.... but as for the other stuff, i'm no expert so im not going to say yes or no...

Not sure how nissan does it but for a AWD our VQ engine is also mounted in the wrong direction too
