the 2nd email sounds legit and the first one sounds bogus. keep your money in your pockets guys and gals until something better comes along. 15k up front as a whole for these for a deposit on something that is going to cost 300k to develop? just doesn't sound like smart business. anyway, i'm sure something will eventually come around hopefully sooner than later, but this isn't it as 150 deposits is a pipe dream.

I am standing with cash in hand. My wish list for these are...

black bezelshas to work with hidshas good cutoff (would pay more for tsx-like projectors)are good quality and sealed properly with no dust/moisture/debris sealed in

My last car had a little reflector piece inside to give a slight glare to see road signs better at night. I promptly removed them

As to the color of the inner housing, I would perfer clear/chrome rather than a black or smoke color seeing that nothing else in my car carries those colors. If they can do a body color match, that would be great!

As to the amber color light, will that be the running light or turn signal? I'm not trying to be picky, but the whole idea about getting new light housing I thought was to eliminate the amber marker. Also, what color will the angle eyes be if they are incorporated on to the projectors?

So the question remains unanswered...will the HID's work with these projectors???

Yes, everything electrical should remain the same. if you already have HID and auto lights. if they can't then no thanks

I'm guessing that if your car doesn't have HIDs then they will include a module for it. and if it already does you won't have to buy it again from them so it will cost less for you.

From the sounds of it, should be plug and play once you remove the old headlights and throw these ones in.

So what you are saying is that if we already have HID....weather it's factory or aftermarket, we should be ok and will cost a lil less? If this is case, then I will for sure do this.

Guys we might get this sooner than expected as I've gotten in contact with brandon who's a pro projector retrofiter. he does awesome jobs, here an exemple on a 08 Lancer.

BEFORE AFTER

and he's got the man power for all the 35 people that said yes right now. he's in toronto and I'm working out the details with him. I MIGHT need someone in the toronto area for some prototyping. One altima with HIDs and one without it. Anyways, I'll let you know all about it. we might not even have to reach 150 people to get our fix

Mehdi, I am very confused now. I thought we were looking at getting a whole new headlight made? There are many posts here stating that a headlight retrofit would be impossible with our headlights due to the seal or whatnot.

Sounds like your guy that you just mentioned only does retrofits-- I don't mind if he can do it and make it look like the prototyped image you have originally in this thread with the led iron man style and projectors, but perhaps not if its just a projector retrofit...

Let me know...

I'm checking with him to see what he can do and how much he would charge. we have 35+ guys already so while we wait for 150 people to sign on, I'm checking all thats avaible.

I don't know if he can do the ironman style because I haven't had the chance to ask him yet, but from what I'm understanding is that he's very flexible and he can do , single or dual projector with halo and he can do either clear housing or flat black and he does custom shrouds and hardness too, also he can remove the amber strip or tint it. don't worry about a thing I'm doing this for all you guys so I'll let you know all a soon a I hear back I'm not going to accept anything less than the best for yall since I'm going so don't worry!

I might be willing to let him do the prototype on mine, depends on how long I'd be without the car for tho, as I'm a daily driver...

hey jay we wouldnt need your whole car, even if we got one headlight we could go off of it that way you could still drive your car if you like. lets get a group number together of who wants in and then we can sort out deposits and for the mean time we could do a pair of fx45 bi xenon is the prototype as i have a pair here. but for the others we would need an exact number and we could count this as round one for people wanting to get it done, round 2 would most likely be a bit more money. also with this not every light has to be the same we can add in diff things with each light so you have a bit of customization

this guy is right man.......after thinking about this, man you gotta find out if hes legit or not. As for the retrofits, does this mean we have to ship out our headlights to him? Man, Im in Hawaii and shipping is a b*tch here man. Im all in for headlights but as long as its legit.

Ok guys! like brandon said, he would need would need a prototyper in the toronto area to have the car, the best I think would be maybe for one or two days, that would be best. but like he said he only needs one headlight so you could give him one and roll around with the other in the mean time. I asked him about the special silicon sealant on the headlights thats causing everyone headaches but he thinks he's up to the challenge. I had a talk with him were we exchanged lots of emails about the feasibility of it and I believe in him and I give my official seal of approval:

SO anyone up for greatness? you have to just email him!

btw, the possibilities we talked about were one with a single projector for low beam with custom harness, shrouds, angel eyes, tint or removal or amber signal and painting of the housing in flat or keeping it in plus hid kit for 2.5Sers , or everything i said but dual projectors. also I showed him this one http://i18.photobucket.com/alb...2.jpg

and he told me that he could do it too!

and finally I showed him the Ironman style projector from the OP post. he told me that it would be tought to get it perfect each time but he could try it with the prototyper to get LED lightning on the tinted amber light or something. so it's up to you future prototyper, make us proud!
