I'm trying to start this (maybe even get a sticky) everyone that has modded the interior of your altima coupe post a pic and explain the mod, it may help others who want to know what a certain mod will look like w/o doing it themselves lol :-)

Any ideas for this category? I generally only alter my cars for performance (ie. go faster, stop quicker, turn better...sometimes sound better).

I have had friends add body color to the door panels, and seats. I haven't picked up my coupe yet (built and due within 2 weeks per the dealer), what mods would be good here?

I have plans to add an in-dash dvd player, but i dont yet know exactly how I plan on going about it. The way the dash is set up it seems like it may be a little difficult, though possible.

Just curious, do you watch DVD's while you drive? I am assuming it's not for the kids in the back seat, as the Coupe is not much of a familiy car.

To be honest, I don't think I would ever see the day were I would sit in my car and watch a movie. I guess if you a kid on a date it might impress the date......dating in the year 2007; what a difference 15 years make

the lights are regular LEDs my cousin had left over from his car, and they fit right in...4 the door panel lights, i put a 4bulb LED on each side..2 take it off, use a flat-head screwdriver and CAREFULLY stick it in the sides and slip it off..take the bulb out, switch it, and snaps right back in...now, the license plate lights r difficult..open the trunk, and take off each plastic thing holding the inside trunk lid interior on. they snap on and off with flathead screwdrivers. then, slip it off the trunk release cord. Then, look 4 the license plate bulbs, switch them, and do it all in reverse. Good luck. also, in the car manual, the size bulb and wattage 4 each light is listed, 4 ur info.

Any chance of posting some pics?

I'd like to add some interior LED's but nothing too drastic. I like the accent light from above which shines down to the center shift panel and wonder how it would look like to have something like that lighting up under the front dash on the foot-rest area, and possibly in the back too.

Would this involve drilling holes to pass wires? Where would the electrical source be? Any websites I can look for ideas?

Well its not easy and u gotta be careful. BUT a person I knew had done it in his accord. Just buy the regular white or whatever color neon with the cigarette lighter plug. Cut the plug off and u will have to wire it to ur fuse box....or wire in such a manner to a single box and then have a switch hooked up to dat. Perhaps radioshack aka the source, should have something like dat. It's not a simple job but it does look nice. U'd have to zip tie the lights to the bottom of the rear seats and perhaps use double sided velcro strips to attach to the bottom of the dash in the foot rest area.....goodluck!

Well, the only mod I have done, if you can consider it a mod at all, is putting a Broadway Mirror over the stock rear view mirror. I'm all about function over form, and this mirror will allow you to see more of what is actually behind you while driving. Since the stock mirror could be a bit restrictive coupled with a more narrower windshield than the sedan, this mod in my opinion is a must. That, and looks pretty good over the stock mirror.

From what I understand, some Coupes that have certain packages come with a rear view mirror with more functions than lower trim levels, so this mod may not be a good idea for you guys.

I'll post pics when I can, it's to dark to be taking pictures at the moment.

Still trying to find the VSS wire for an aftermarket navi setup.

This would be on the non Bose setup w. dual climate control.

I took a heat gun to them for maybe 10 seconds or so to soften the glue. pulled back a little edge with tweezers. then used my fingers and slowly peeled the entire thing off in one move. Theres a slight glue residue left but that will come off with a little work.

ordered my 3.5 a/c about a week ago. base model manual transmission no tech package or premium package. i was wondering what the quality of the sound system is? and if putting a small sub in would be necessary or not. thanks.

I got my LEDs in today... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1I put one in the map light and it doesnt look as bright as i expected it to.. it also shows a slight "halo" effect (of no relation to the awesome game released yesterday)... Has anyone else seen this? Are you guys putting in multi-bulb LED wedges? Thanks

it depends on how much bass you want, i have the same exact specs and the bass and sound system isnt too bad actually, but if u want to get subs then it will have to be pretty small if you plan on going in the trunk since the trunk is so small toward the seats, maybe 8's, or even a tube??

I have two 10" JL W3's and a JL Amp ect, Im hoping it will squeeze in there....I dont really need any trunk room, however Im considering removing the bose speakers from the trunk area to free up some height..... I havent looked that close into the trunk but Im picking my coupe up on Tuesday so I will be able to see then.....has any one considered doing this?? I know it sounds stupid to go ripping the bose stereo out of there but I paid 2500 for my stereo and would like to continue using it.....I wish I could have opt'd out of the Bose stereo but it was part of the package.

I feel you on the bose stereo...I def would've opted out if I could have. No audiophile can listen to that stereo and think its enough. I'm gutting out my entire bose system and putting it in my wife's altima sedan 2.5S I need way more than the bose can give me
