Alternator Swap

I have a 1992 KA24DE RWD and the alternator diodes are squealing with the high beams on. Is there another models alternator with a higher output that will bolt on my engine (early 90's Maxima?)?

are you sure it's not just your belts? check to see if your belt is loose and causing the squeakiness.

Does your ride have an A/C unit...cars with A/C and automatics have a higher amped alternator....

Thanks for the info. a 97 Quest it is. And no, it isn't the belts making the noise.
