I find it very amusing that when I saw that you replied to this post, the first thing that came to my mind is "I bet he's going to criticize everyone and tell them they are breaking the law."

Now, I'm not trying to start an argument on the legality of downloading music, seeing as the laws aren't even clear on it right now (RIAA does not write the laws). I just think you should be very careful in how you speak Vimy, because the only posts I ever see you participate in you are starting arguments or criticizing others. Then again, perhaps those are just the ones I remember.

Don't shoot the messenger. Downloading copyrighted material without the permission of the rights holder is illegal.

Once again, not discussing the legality with you because its really not worth it. I'm just saying you're not making any friends by being a jerk to people and trying to start arguments every time you post. You're already trying to turn this into an argument! I know what your response to this will be, but every time you start another argument just to try to ruffle someone's feathers you lose respect, at least from me. You don't need to reply saying you don't care what some random person on the internet thinks because I know that's how you feel. If you are anything like this in the "real world" though, I can't imagine it is helping you. Have a nice day.

I'm sure we all realize we may be breaking the law, but many of us choose to do it anyway. That's not what this thread is about though, enough said. I use Kazaa Lite and Limewire, but neither work to well anymore. Kazaa has alot of crap downloads and Limewire just doesn't have much of anything anymore. Kazaa is still good for everything but music though.

Once again, don't shoot the messenger. Copyright law does exist. I don't see an argument in stating the obvious. Downloading copyrighted material without the consent of the rights holder is illegal.
