alternatives to Kazaa

well i was trying to download kazaa again, but everytime it says 'connecting to p2p network....please wait' it just stays there forever. I tried looking for other free p2p places, but none of them are any good. Anyone know a really good alternative or perhaps how to actually get kazaa to download.

ares is the name of it? where could i get this if u dont mind? Also, is that the stock color on your 24o, i love it, mines white and isnt in bad condition, but it doesnt reflect for crap anymore, i really wanna paint it a silver/gunmetal color

I love bittorrent, but you need website sources. WinMX is also good and it kind of feels similar to kazaa. EMule is good if you dont have a firewall. I remember I couldnt get it to work well since im on a router and I didnt want to poke holes in my firewall.

shareaza is not bad... connects to the gnutella 1 & 2 and the eDonkey networks. I had no luck with Ares Galaxy.

e-mule is ok, it is set up for leaving it run all the time and it could take 4 ever for something to download. i only use it occasionally.

actually Bryandts sent me kazaalite and it works fine, SOOO much better without the ads, but thanks for all the suggestions guys

kaazalite took a major hit in the number of people using it so i dont think it the number 1 anymore it's still usefull you can find some pretty good stuff on it

that mydoom virus coupled with the big bad riaa and a pinch of sharmen networks trying to sue kazaa lite is is why they have taken a slight hit
