So I've been looking for a drop top 300zx for a while now and finally found and bought one. I bought it out of state and am having the wife and daughter pick it up tomorrow. I already have it titled and licensed in my name and my state. It is a 94 with an automatic. It has 101k original miles from the original owner. All receipts since day one. From talking with it's original owner and the pictures I've seen it is near mint. He discounted the heck out of the price because his college daughter drove it one time and didn't latch the top all the way and broke a couple arms in the top mechanism. It still functions but isn't right. I got crap house lucky and found a great shape mechanism and top for dirt cheap. My wife and Daughter have a 1400 mile drive home with it. Fingers crossed :-)

Thank you NICO for this great site! How do I attach photos?

Good deal!
The top doesn't leak right? And it still goes down all the way? It should be a fun topless 1400 mile drive if that's the case.

The current top does leak, but the new one I have in the garage will work perfect!

Welcome to Nico, and congratulations on your purchase!

I don't think there should be a size problem for a photo host site, such as photobucket, just cut and paste the correct code for the website into your post and you should be good.

We all say that at first, then upgrades happen.

My wife and Daughter just picked up the car so it is officially mine now!! She says it looks just as good in person as the pictures make it look. Now they're off to Disneyland in my new car.

Am I the only one that noticed how many of the CRP cars are all on the West Coast?

True about the CRP, they are easier to find around here and I have seen several since owning mine.
I did notice that the headlight rubber is out of place and perhaps the center panel has been repainted, and a hint of the hood line uneven and higher hood...was there an accident or fender bender in it's past?
