all of the sudden

So all of the sudden my rear lights stay on with the ignition of and the light switch on the of position. This caused my battery to drian very quickly so in the neatime i disconnect the battery. Anyone have a quick idea on how to fix this?

pull the fuses instead? i dunno wish i could help

first, it's all of A sudden, not "the".

second, all i did was search "brake lights" and got the answer.

^^ i know my apologies dont mean much but ill definately search harder next time. And sorry for the english, it just goes to show you that having a degree doesnt mean much now a days.

Not really. I remember them being a little more tasty then they are now. I am disappointed.

But yeah just pull your fuse. I have been driving with no tail lights for like 4 months. You'll be fine.

check your brake light switch. it may have popped out.

That's what I was gonna say. Check the brake pedal switch. I had to fix a friends car for the same problem. Her floor mat was pushed too far forward & was laying on it causing it to stay on.

My car did this and I found that the plug that the brake light switch hits was gone. It had fallen out in the floor in many parts.

when i switched my brake booster out the little rubber piece thats suppose to block the brake switch broke all up.( i tried to find the picks for you but negative) anywho get some super glue and a penny and glue the penny over the hole. works just fine for me.

Possible stick relay..... but the brake switch is suspect to me. Its located on the brake pedal

MINE WAS doin that, and sometimes the breaklights would not get brighter when i braked too. i jus got new internals from junk yard n fixed it .. i hope lol
