Hasn't it always been though? That and a chick mobile....Rogue One wrote:Now's it's more a Mom and Dad styled CUV? OUCH!
I vote no on a sub forum, it is still the same car. Plus it has the same engine. It's not like the first gen was the Rogue 300 and the 2014 Rogue is the Rogue 350.Rogue One wrote:I was just going to ask the MOD's, but I thought I'd solicit input from everyone.
Given that the 2014 model is significantly different from the first gen, could/should we have a separate/sub forum for it? After all this has been done for the Z's (300 and 350/370), while the Altima is divide between sedan and coupe.
Thoughts, opinions, comments?
To be fair that is going to be a positive review because it is from a Nissan dealer, so it's actually biased. Actually that is my Nissan dealer lolfollowingnfront wrote:Positive review.
I am not a big fan of silver on vehicles, but I honestly really like the way silver makes the 2014 look. Silver may be the best color on it!

That's cool that its your dealer. You should tell the guy you saw him on Youtube and have him shout out Nicoclub on his next video...darylzero wrote:To be fair that is going to be a positive review because it is from a Nissan dealer, so it's actually biased. I just checked http://www.nissanusa.com/crossovers/rogue and plugged in multiple area codes for local offers. All results came up empty.RyleyinSTL wrote:The 2014 officially launched yesterday. I did a search for inventory in my area, so I could take one for a spin...nothing. Not one of them is in stock in the greater STL area. Kind of a bummer. I'd of thought being only 4.5hrs away from Nashville that some inventory would have made it's way over here in time for the launch day.

What I can tell you is that if you opt for the third row seating, you loose the spare tire (tyre to non Yanks). Instead you'll get run-flats, and that opens a whole new can of worms. Apparently they're subject to rather uneven treadwear, and as near as I can tell, it's recommended they're replaced in pairs. Not to mention they're noiser than standard tires.kerrton wrote:Nissan Canada still doesn't even list the 2014 Rogue model as available yet, still stuck with 2013! But that's always the way these things shake out, not sure why but I guess we're used to it up here!!
Hey has anyone checked out a Rogue with 3rd row seating? I'd like to know impressions and some details. I am not expecting it to be a good option for adults, but am hoping it's a good option for two small children under 10 yrs old to free up the 2nd row for adult passengers on short in-town trips.
I agree, its a lazy review and conclusions are drawn mostly from the manufacturer's marketing and promises of greatness.followingnfront wrote:Wow number 3 behind the CRV and CX-5 huh... Interesting... I find it hard to believe they've got to know the vehicle THAT much in the few weeks that its been out. They don't even know if the thing is going to be reliable or anything....
those vibrations cause the exhaust sheild to rattle making that noise that everyone here keeps blaming on the transmission.followingnfront wrote:The 4 cyl Altimas have cvt issues too. Vibrations and rattles iin the drivetrain.
