Any time you change the ride height of a vehicle you need to have it aligned.

Short answer: Very Necessary

Long Answer: I lowered mine and got it aligned. After a summer of 17's I got another alignment when i put my stocks back on for the winter. Both of these caused the alignment to be considerably out of whack. The lowering actually put the car off the scale. If you can scrape together a few more dollars NTB offers a great package that i took advantage of myself. 5 years of alignments at any NTB, as often as you want for $180. You can even transfer it once to another vehicle.

No, but hard bumps and potholes are felt even more with a larger rim. I can only imagine what it does to the suspension. Add the fact that they are free to me, and hey, why not?
