Oh man, that sucks. You would have been welcome to the parts on my car if I hadn't already sold it. I'll keep my eyes out for something.

I've got a parts car that still has full suspension on it if you need some parts. I'm in Huntsville.

Also, my friend has atleast one rolling chasis that I'm sure he will come off of for about $600. I'm going over there today to pull some parts off of my spare, so I'll ask him about it.

Give me a call: 652-8739

And Shift, I've got a Supercharged S14 Kouki

What's up man? I saw your writeup on here about the install. I was wondering how it was doing. Have you got it up on a dyno yet?

Well after replacing the supercharger, it is doing great. Mr. Knight sent me a bad unit and it decided to self destruct when the rear needle bearing finally went. But it is finally back on the road. Now that the weather is getting colder, I'm hitting 11psi. Oh, the fun!!!

No, I haven't gotten it dynoed. My friend is dragging his *** on getting the dyno installed in the new building. The concrete forms are made so hopefully the pit will be poured by the end of the week.

I'm hopefullt gonna get an S14...I'm trying to get this really nice kouki on Autotrader, but its auto and $11,000...so I dunno. So what made you go with a supercharger instead of an SR or KA-T? Response? Price?

$11,000 sounds pretty high for an auto unless it has like 30k on it. I bought mine 4 1/2 years ago for $8200.

I went with the supercharger because it was $1200, got me to the power goals I was looking for(10psi @ 1500rpm), and was different from what everybody else was doing. Also, It looks like my friend is getting his CnC Plasma Cutter so we will be making a few supercharger kits for local use and they will actually fit unlike a good portion of Mr. Knights stuff that he sent me.

I just checked autotrader and there are two s14a's on there within 150 miles of here. One is $7000(w/72k miles and 5 speed) and the other is $5500.

That's cool. It's just sitting on a parts car.

I drive a red '97 supercharged 240sx.

I don't have a line on anyone with springs or struts. You are about the tenth person locally to ask me. I wish I did.

Basically, it will be the same setup I'm running now except it will actually fit without you having to get very intimate with a die grinder. I'm also in the process of rerouting the throttle body adapter to eliminate the separate idle air stuff and mount it all on the piping. We'll see. I've got a mockup motor now so when we get some plates cut, I can really start playing. I'll keep everybody informed. I'll also share my tuning. I'm currently running a bikirom with a 95 ecu.

I have friends that collect random tools that allow us to do just about anything. It's kind of nice. I'm an aerospace engineer doing structures for helicopters.

I'm working on setting up a meet for the spring for the spring. Art at Trackmasters will most likely have an event at his new shop and then I plan on having the group migrate to my house which is just down the street from Huntsville Dragway for dinner before heading out to the track.

I'm working on a list of cars that I know would come out. Here are my close friends that will definately be there:

97 Supercharged s14a00 Maxima03 350Z Touring90 Turbo dohc s13 (to be twincharged)83 Turbo 280ZX90 300ZX-TT91 s13 w/silvia front end conversion06 WRX06 RX-877 Triumph Spitfire

These are just off the top of my head. I might also have my Titan by then.

To officially state it, I hate Honda's for performance. There is nothing about driving a civic that interests me at all. Accords and Acura's are ok, but I will stack up my Nissans and Infiniti's against them anyday for all aspects of driving.

Now back to the discussion, I too need to get to the track and play. The dragway is closed until it warms up in the spring. I have a friend who might can get a group of us into the Huntsville Speedway to setup a course in the infield. I know he was working on that last week.

I will try and remember to post up here when I'm getting a group over to work in the garage. It may be a minute because I have to start working on finishing my basement. Regardless I'll try to remember.

That's cool. I do a little bit on the UH-60 and my friend is a flight test engineer for the UH-60 and the MH-60. Pretty neat aircraft. I did get to play in an HH-60(medivac) about a month ago. That thing is the limo of Blackhawks. I usually play in the CH-47(Chinook) world.
