theres something where quality matters like when it comes to audio i buy liek stuff from alpine because speakers are diffferent but when were talkin bout the same product you always want to pay the cheapest amount due to the quality being the same.

...pay now or pay later. You'll see.

It's not about TireRack simply "paying for a window" ...but BEING HERE to help with every concern, question, and deal with comments such as yours.

If you don't think their prices are reasonable, and their service is top notch, then there's no point. If initial dollars are going to push you and others away from TireRack, then we're in trouble. We, as a buying public. The best customer service will always win. Because, the people with the money, will pay for that top notch service, and tell all their friends to buy from the best customer service company, and the rest is like the nature channel. The weak die young. Meanwhile, TireRack will still be churning out tire packages and strut orders by the hundreds. All because they answer the phone, know their stuff, are reasonably priced, have the product ready to ship, and are HERE helping the enthusiast!

You may be able to eek out a few dollars discount, but what happens when you run into trouble? Who are YOU gonna call?

I know Grant's business phone number, but I haven't seen who to contact should my "AGX group buy" order be incorrect.

Lastly: You can't build a proper car on the cheap. And I wouldn't be saying that if I hadn't been young, broke, and tried to do it myself.

im not sayin theres anything wrong with tirerack or enjuku there both very respectable company's. But the idea of a GB is to get the very best deal possible. An along with that yes it is true you cant build a proper car cheap but when you are young an broke every penny helps. An I for one would gladly go with tirerack if the difference was only like 5 dollars or a small margain between the competition.

Let me jump Into this real quick.I am kinda standing on the middle.Like you say Smith SR if we have Money to Burn!!!How many of us seating here have Money to Burn??? I know I don't but I know for Sure I want KYB with Tein Springs or Tein basic Dumper. It is just like you going to buy food for the house. You go to the place where you know has a Lower price then the other companys while getting the same thing!

Also I understand things could go wrong but on the other hand it is kinda like a hair in the strack on it could go wrong. Since S14 and S13 Use Different Model so. All the person that is doing the packageing have to do is get 2 front and 2 rear for the S14. Same has S13 but with different parts! So I don't think anything could go wrong.

Oh by the way I am not trying to say Tire Rack sucks. Since I have order almost 10 sets of tire from them in the past 5 years for my family and friends cars. But alot of people that work there don't know jack. I have try to ask them would 225/50/15 fit a 99 Accord EX V6. All he saying is that all he know is that 205/60/15 would fit and he say if i need any more help then call back since he say he don't know the Answer to my ???. Also I have try to ask would 215/50/17 fit a 240SX he told me yes and when I order the tires and put it on my car the tire is like a hair away from touching my Sturts. So CS is not always the #1 thing you want from a Company. It is can they send you the stuff you need!!

OK gents, I'm going to close this thread, because it's been open since 2/16/04 and we could not put together a cost effective group buy.

It would be nice to get such low pricing on the AGX kit, so to those who were working in earnest to get something together, please feel free to email myself or an admin with info if/when you DO get a deal together.

We're getting there... spring is around the corner, so let's keep our eyes open for special sale pricing from vendors.

Phil :)
