<---wants a nice pair of Wiley X's or Gargoyles.

I like glasses for a purpose
Ohhhh, Gargoyles... They have GREAT distortion through the lenses.

Ever hear "you get what you pay for"?

Look at some of the technology that Oakley uses in their lenses. Not that it's new either. They have been doing this for many years.

...but I can wakeboard......

But seriously, I have always thought of Oakleys as very pro-military, since they give damn near half off to service members, fire fighters, police, and EMS personnel.

<---- Owns a pair of gloss black Gascans for that reason

Since I recently got contacts I celebrated with my first pair of sunglasses, they feel nice and light. Aside from it being light, just for the hell of it, I got it because its carbonfibre and polarized. It's nice and flexible.

I looked at the CNC machined, carbon fiber and aluminum Oakleys. As much as I love sunglasses, I can't spend $4k on a pair...

Can you hook me up with some new lenses for my A wires? Mine are old as hell and have some pretty bad scratches on them.

I looked at some Oakleys in Hawaii back in January, but didn't see anything I thought looked good on my head.

I usually just buy cheapies at the hyaku yen shop, but I love my A wires.

Those frames.........break? I sound like I am trying to sell em now, but you would have to blowtorch MJs, and try really hard to leave a blemish on these. Although they will bend. I will leave it at that.....

Oakleys are too 80's for me.

Besides, they look like something an athlete would wear, and neither one of you guys (Moses and Brad) fit the bill.

All in all, there are a few of us that did not pay full pop for our five thousand dollar shades. They say the first one is always free!

You don't think I'm athletic? Collegiate wrestling, BMX, MMA, and weightlifting... Guess those aren't "real sports" like football, baseball and golf, huh?

^ You've got mail

And I never liked how Oakleys secure themselves onto your head... just a straight band that clamps the glasses to the side of your head with friction. I like mine to kinda bend downward behind my ears a little bit... a little more positive engagement.
