We are dealing with rotating mass here man. Why do you think people get 11.5lb fidanza flywheels? Its to knock off rotating mass, not weight savings.

What you are thinking of is sprung weight.

TRUE! I wasnt thinking. But still, I wonder how much of a weight difference is between the aluminum and carbon. Probably not much at all.
