you can tune with a map sensor if you want, they should have the gm 3 bar setup in there and also their 3.5 bar. and you can use the wideband of your choice they just recomend theirs.Wykid 240 wrote:Does the EMS have a conversion from MAF to MAP? never heard of this before.....is it worth the extra 400? what does it do? ive got all the cash but I dont want to buy something I dont need.....rb250sx wrote:it stands for Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen
Basically, it's a wide band O2 sensor and gives you a real Air/Fuel ratio unlike the cheaper Autometer gauge that just has a bouncing light. Very important to know your A/F because it'll let you know if your car begins to run rich or lean while you're driving. I had a friend whose turbo Civic went lean while he was racing and he burnt up the engine. It wasn't pretty.AEM wrote:UEGO stands for Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen sensor. It is the most accurate, fastest responding type of air/fuel ratio (AFR) sensor available on the market today.
