the AEM UEGO has a fast response. its very worth the money if you plan to tune or modify the EMS yourself. or hell, even if you want to know the condition of your AFR at any time.

110% worth the money.

i think their price is probably going to be in the $1500-$1800 range like their other models.

i will be wiring up a Haltech E6K system----it's as powerful standalone as the EMS, except for the auto-tune feature. the only difference is i got mine for 1/2 the price of the EMS.

i actually got the prices and posted them last page, here they are again direct from AEM

1850 w/o UEGO2250 w/ UEGO

thats what someone should expect to pay when walking off the street into a store.

You can get 40ish hp just by leaning out the fuel maps a bit as some people on this forum have done. Don't need EMS for that! Just a new EPROM or piggyback.

For a stock setup, I'd say you'd be much better off taking your $1.5-2.0k and getting an FMIC and better turbo.

i totally agree, for a mild setup, stock ecu and piggy back will get you running reliably.

40 horse by leaning?! I wanna so do that. I'd agree with the FMIC but I'd get some sorta of fuel/timing control first before nice turbo... that way you are ready for a nice tune after that turbo gets mounted, not waiting for the computer first.-Alex

invest in a wideband and you guys will see how rich the car gets.

and when you turn up the boost, the car goes super duper duper rich.

iirc, meggala or someone was getting some good numbers taking a safc and leaning out the stockish skylines.

...but why would you not wanna shoot fire
