I can't even begin to remember what the exact speeding ticket numbers were, but I've had the following totals:

8 speeding violations in Vermont2 speeding violations in New Hapshire6 speeding violations in Maine1 speeding violation in New York3 violations of inspection standards in Maine1 Operating After Suspension in Maine1 illegal plate attachment in Maine

My license has been suspended at least a half dozen times... spent a night in jail for the OAS. maybe more. I was guilty on all but 4 of those charges and I contested the ones in which I felt I wasn't guilty. And I won all of them. I have never contested a charge that I knew I was guilty of. I'm not proud of a single one of those tickets... and I'm a friggin' lousy driver in a legal sense.

But, I also know that I'm a relatively safe driver in comparison to most the idiots I see on a daily basis... I just have a lead foot and I'm not a big fan of state standards in regard to the equipment on my vehicles. I'm irresponsible in that way... but I would trust my driving over anyone I know... except maybe some of the hill-climb drivers I've met... they are some pretty amazing drivers.

I've gotten 6 moving violations now and 1 non-moving violation citation. I've payed all the speeding tickets because well, I was guilty on all of them and look at speeding tickets as "road tax". Speeding tickets and high insurance are just the costs of driving for me and I'll gladly pay them. As for the other two things I've been charged with (Disorderly conduct gesture and tresspassing on school grounds >>long story to those) I got off with just paying the fine on tresspassing and 6 months probation. It ALWAYS pays to take things you feel you aren't guilty for to court as you usually can at least plea bargain. I got lucky and after the 4 hr. case before mine the DA didn't feel like prosecuting so we bargained it down. Also, in all the cities I know of, officers are required to be at the case, if they are not the DA can go ahead with it anyway.

damn. i guess im not that bad after all.

i just completed my only suspension. ive gotten alot of tickets due to the fact i would be driving 18 hours out of the day. when you do nothing but drive and transport cars, you begin to lose regard for the rules of the road.

im not a bad driver, im just an *******.

dun dun dun

charged dismissed

thats right, dismissed. person who was directly behind me was 2 cases prior to me, same judge, I was present during it. Didn't even go on record with a hearing for me after he was found not responsible since there was no evidence.

did the system work? I think so. I wasn't speeding, and the charge didn't stick.
