Did you get them on? What had to be done? Any other problems?nzmoman wrote:my lower bracket does not fit. It is about 1/8-1/4 inch off. There are little lips that hang off the factory black bracket that is mounted to the engine and they prevent the holes from lining up.
The two tabs will saw off easy with a hacksaw or you can use spacers. I am waiting to get another alternator and then I will finish the install. But like a said, the install is EASY besides those little tabs. Either way its not a big deal. I just wasn't expecting it. If there are other issues I will post it up.BTW this was o the s14 SR20.supreamS14 wrote:

Cody, do you still have that link to how you installed you brackets on your red-top? I see that its not working off your sig. any more.
S14 W/ S13 Black top: My belt is too small as well. Kinda stuck there unless some one can get a better part number(I tryed to use a heat gun and stretch it but no luck there). I had to un-bolt and bend a power steering line bracket(the s14 ka compressor is big). ALSO The new lower brackets are about 1/4-1/8 off making the compressor not able to bolt to it. I will have to have a machine shop bore the holes bigger(I already cut the lower tabs off). Washers wont work here, my compressor is too close to the swaybar. Well there goes an 8 hour day down the drain! I took it all out and will try again next weekend when I have more time. Not too big a deal, The two that bolted are pretty solid so Im wiling to give it a go...BUT then I find that the belt does not fit. I think I have the wrong belt for my kit. it seems like it is 3-4 inches too small...
