I'm rather happy I have no idea who either of these people are. I'm going to go back to under my rock now.

If this rock's a rockin, don't come a knockin.

Speaking of Sarah, she still gives me a chubby. I won't vote for her, but I would like to give her a stimulus package.

Make room Jim, you're fixing to have company.

We don't watch DWTS or Jersey Shore. Hell, I don't even let our kids watch Spongebob. I'm not gonna ban them from watching it on YouTube if they so desire but it sure as hell ain't gonna be on in our living room. F*** that noise.

Oddly enough, mah girl found this. She didn't know who the situation was until I mentioned wanting to see him on DWTS. I don't think she really cares who BP is either. I'm kinda surprised you didn't know who the Situation is considering how much he's talked about on NICO (hell, even the smilie? :mike )

And what's wrong with DWTS? You wouldn't let your kids watch that? I can understand Jersey Shore not being allowed on the TV in the "grumpy old man" house, but surely Dancing with the Stars can't be banned, right?

"We don't watch" does not mean "is banned." It means "we don't watch."

Anyone under 30 is the same "generation" as kids currently in high school, AFAIK.

Birth dates from ~1980-2000 or thereabouts is all in one big pile. "Millennials"

1982+ is the typical cutoff for gen Y.
Gen X is the late 60s to early 80s. "MTV" generation. Post-boom low birth rate. Our world is dominated by a--hole boomers.

Meanwhile, my marketing texts refer to 30 and under as one core group.

The internet and wireless communication matured in the late 90s and produced a major cultural shift that most of the folks born in the early 90s experienced or enjoyed during their adolescent years. I lump these folks, culturally, in with Gen Y. People who dont know much about life before internets.

Speaking from a man's perspective, I'd have to say that I find DWTS repulsive because I dont love dong.

My time is pretty well-structured. I feel like that show is pretty much a waste. No, I have never took the time to sit down and watch, but everything I have read about it or heard about it is very un-impressive. To each his own, I don't knock what anyone watches. I'm just saying that it will not be on my TV.

1982 is generally considered the cut off between Gen-X and Gen-Y. Thank god I made gen X by 3 months.
