Bout to order my wheel/tire setup for my 90 s13 sr20det. I have tien springs and kyb shocks and the car is lowered 1.5"

Here's what im ordering and the costs

Im about to order (4) 17x9 sportmax 962's wrapped with 235/40/17 Falken Azeni's RT-615 for $1320 from http://www.elementwheels.com

For the front im ordering Ichiba 15mm spacers for $105

The wheels include lugnuts but im not sure if they're going to fit with the spacers? If not what kind of lug nuts do I need

Other than that I think this is all that I need....What do you guys think? Do I need anything else

I hope you plan on putting in longer wheel studs.

Also, your ride height will be 4x4 status.

Some people think the Tein springs ride a little high in the front.

My question is, why are you ordering spacers for the front?

With that setup your front wheels will sit flush, and your rears may be a little sunken.

What offsets are you getting?

Trust me the tein springs are low enough for a dd in mountainous western MD!

I thought I needed spacers in the front with 17x9 +35mm wheels for clearance? It would be great if I didnt!

i dont know if that set up would clear your suspension, but if it does, im sure it would look weird with +20 up front and +35 in back.

that was what I was afraid of. Would equal spacers (15mm front and rear) cut it as well as look ok? Man im glad i checked this before I pressed submit!

The real question is, why are you are you ordering wheels with a +35 offset?

Personally I would go with a 17 x 9s with a + 20 all the way around.

You should check the fitment database.

That should not be hard.

Try ordering wheels and tires separately. Vulcantire.com has really good prices on RT-615s, thats where I got mine from.

As for wheels, just keep looking. You should easily be able to get into an XXR for less than 2000 with tires, hell if you look hard, I would bet you could have them for 1000 with tires.

Not really. But they are one of the only good looking no-lip wheels imo.

They are WAY lighter than the sportmaxes too.

man... im looking for a relatively inexpensive 4 lug 17x9 wheel similar to the 962 style with an offset that will clear in the front with 235/40/17 tires all around... is there something that exists??!!

With a lip!!

You know that Sportmaxes are already knockoffs right? If you want good wheels on the cheap, try looking for used ones. You can save ALOT of money if you get a good deal. Especially in these hard times.
