Looks like it is a decent MAF. If I could find a table that is already out there that would work, I would give it a shot.

You could use a corba or ford lightning maf table, that's what I'm going to do.

Hey make sure you order it with the AB-P00 universal unterminated harness, so you can splice and solder it into your stock harness. Mine didn't come with one so I had to buy it ($25??) plus another shipping fee. I think if you ask they will put in a AB-P00 for free. Good luck!

D-Unit could you send me the 300zx maf data. The emance ecu i had didn't work out well so i'm going power fc now and would need to add the 300zx maf table/load reference to my abaco maf.

I am very sorry, I cannot help you on that. You see I don't have a 300zx MAF. I have a JWT stage 4 rom map, which utilizes the 93' Ford Cobra Mustang MAF. So my digital maf is emulating that one. You have three options thou -

1. Download the free software and run through the tables and check the nissan folder, the 300zx map might be in there.

2. Borrow a friends 300zx MAF , send it to abaco performance. They will flow bench it and make you a custom map ($50).

3. Buy a 300zx MAF (follow #2 instructions) then sell it! easy peesy lemon squeezy!

Did you buy one already? which size did you get?

Sorry i thought you had that maf for some reason... I have a 300zx maf already so i'll just send it they're way. I bought dbx 85(3.5inch ). You would think someone somewhere would have that data...

That thing looks pretty sweet huh? Unfortunately Abaco has their own methods of making maps. I think its grams of air / voltage. which makes it super accurate but super hard to freeball a map out of thin air (ha...) without a flowbench. Like I said check in the Nissan folder under imports and cross your fingers. otherwise the turnaround is pretty fast! I think we are the only two on NICO with these MAFs. No one has a map! trust me. Good luck.

Update! One of the first bw efr power sr20dets is up and running.

The Abaco maf is amazingly stable conpared to the 300zx. While monitoring maf voltage the sensor is not jumping around voltages nearly as much. It seems to be provide a much smoother idle then the 300zx on the base power fc map. Will post dyno detail and etc.... soon.

LOL I'm still alive. My power fc had issue and is being fixed some where in Japan right now screwing with aem trying to come up with a baseline tune for this maf. Everyone is so sold on map sensor+ait+barometer+egt. I can't see myself add more complication because some believes that's better. Its hard trying to get things ironed out with this aem. Things are moving along. Thank goodness lol

Hey thats great to hear! haha So you trying running a EMS now?? You ever thought about just getting a reflashed computer? I'm having no problems. I never liked MAP sensors either , I really really like my MAF. I think a tuned computer is great for anything under 550-600 whp.

Yeah I had bad luck with emeance so I and jwt price was more then half the price of the ems considering there were a couple sales going on.

Ems tuning is much easier then you could ever imagine. I think I will get my car on the dyno since are itching to see the e f r turbo numbers

Oh man that makes sense. I thought you were having a rough time with the digital MAF on the ems. I was under the impression that the ems could use all the stock sensors. I was thinking about going ems if I ever can save up enough for 2000cc injectors and a 1200hp flowing turbo haha..... I guess you were saying that no one really tunes ems with a MAF. I wonder what setting the MAF would have to be in. So you got the plug-n-play ems for the SR right?

yup the aem is pnp just like the power fc except it can actually control boost, rad fans, traction control and launch control and tons of other things. It can also do boost correction and wide band correction to adjust your tune for changes like temperature/ elevation change etc.

The abaco be haves the same as what ever maf you choose so it just recognized as a 0-5v sensor. Nissan ecu table has pretty small resolution so if your in between two points on the the table the ecu kinda makes a guess at where it should be and when tuning you have two sometime add or take away to fire issue in the grey area. My buddies kat had this issue....
