Thanks Rich... I'd be happy to stay and continue to contribute. I just didn't know if that was kosher once I was minus my Infiniti. Nate needs my support to contain the Ford infection!! (You're right about the neighborhood... I didn't even notice. I don't pay much attention to Fords. lol)SVTCOBRA wrote:Very nice!!! Dark blue has become one of my favorites!!!You know you don't have to go anywhere. You can still hang out here!!! But, if you do, you'll be missed here. And, if you do....at least your neighbors have TASTE....I see FORD's all around you!!!
Yes, it is kosher. No problemo. I don't want to be the OLDEST around here either!!BigWill wrote:

Ok... and I'll talk real slow so that you can keep up too!Sentientbydesign wrote:We'll drive real slow for you at the next meet so you don't get left behind lol.
Did you get the AT or MT RWD or AWD? I don't see pix. Just X's
You are absolutely right Bob... I was amazed at the quality of the finish on this car!rn79870 wrote:I like Lexus. I drive my mothers 07 ES all the time when she wants to go somewhere. I wish Infiniti could paint a car like Lexus does.
BigWillie, there is no reason to leave just becasue. Heck, there are changes in store for the Infiniti area here at NICO and you'll fit in just fine. I think NICO realizes that good members who enjoy being here need a playground, and we're getting one pretty soon. Stick around!
Yeah, I guess you're right. There's no accounting for taste, huh?SVTCOBRA wrote:^DUH! look at my avatar and name....
need to post up some pics of interior too.
Thanks Zozo... those were just some quickie pics so I could toss 'em up. I knew I would take shyte if I didn't! The interior is beautiful I'll get some up ASAP. The ride is quite different from the G. It is much more refined, not as harsh, but still handles really well.zozoka1212 wrote:Nice,
I hope you'll stay. Congrats on your new toy.
You never know somebody may have some questions about your new toy. I think we all enjoy your posts.
So so far how is the ride?
More pix needed especially interior.

That's an absolutely valid question Brent... I actually researched the inside, as well as outside dimensions of the IS compared to the G coupe, and found that the two have almost identical dimensions for the driver and passenger. I am 6'4", and fit very nicely... keeping in mind that I prefer a bit of a more snug fit. I would never feel comfortable in a Crown Vic. Well, firstly, cause it's a FORD!! But also because there is too much space in the car. There is plenty of leg, head and shoulder room in the IS.... but of course I test drove it first!uncbeers wrote:Hmmm...first off my disclaimer: I'm judging this question solely off the pics you have provided! Pictures can lie and I mean nothing by it...
Question: How do you fit in that 250? I test drove one and told the guy I couldn't fit in the dang thing. Of course, he was ready to make me a "nice deal" so that I could fit but it would have never been comfortable. I felt like my knees were always bumpin the steering wheel nomatter how I moved the seat. You seam like a taller guy as well so I am curious? The 250 really seemed to need the power steering column like it's big bro the 350 for me to get into it.
Mine was knee space. I can make do with the others (I mean I have a one of those dang 'box-sized' Jeeps too) but knee space and the steering wheel thumping my knee every turn wasn't going to cut it. Admittedly I should have played with it more but I just didn't feel right in there.BigWill wrote:

I can see that someone who was a bit longer in the legs than the torso might have a problem. I don't even have the wheel adjusted all the way up and I still have plenty of room.uncbeers wrote:

Now the 350... I fit well but couldnt give up the AWD option. That power steering column made a world of difference for me.
**Edit-surprised on your findings as well...definitely believe them but woudn't have guessed.
Thanks for the well wishes... as to mods, nothing planned at the moment. I think it's pretty sweet just like it is for now.BrandAidDesignG35 wrote:
Funny, you're the second X G owner that I've heard of switching to the Lexus....
Best of luck with your Toyota
And the future...
any plans to pimp it big will???
Well... I had the G for a couple of years, and enjoyed it immensely, but there were a couple of (common) issues that made me want to change. The gas prices and the bad mileage, along with the rapid brake wear, and the biggest reason was the consumption of tires. The IS has sticky compound tires too, but at least I'll be using ALL of the tread, and not just the inside edges.Raylo wrote:Congrats Big Will
What made you go to the dark side??? Really curious since I almost bought an IS350. Thats what my wife wanted me to buy.
The Dodge will run yer lil toy car over...BigWill wrote:

I will indeed stick around. I've had lots of fun here!
BTW... will I get bashed for changing my sig to show the IS? Is that pushing it too much? Oh, wait, we have a Dodge truck in one sig... that shouldn't matter!!
