seriously though why buy and IS250? for the same money you could have bought a G35 sedan which is faster?

Oh well. Have "fun" on the Lexus forums. They do not like to talk about racing and the mods delete and move your posts. At least they did when I went looking to find a IS350 to race.
Interesting that you say that about the Lexus forums... I registered this morning on one, and am still awaiting the requisite "reply to" email telling me that I am a member! Oh, well... good things to those who wait, huh?

Sure won't be ahead of you! Haha. I'll just catch up to you when you stop to fill up gas. Oh wait, I get less per mpg than a G. Then I'll wait til you stop to stretch cause you are getting cramped up. Oh wait, I have a regular cab truck with no leg room compared to tons of room in a G.

I.... know where you sleep.

Very nice Will! One of my buddy's (retired mechanic - now teaching at community college) has two toyota's in his drive. He knows what holds up!

Also has a 32 ford roadster and 56 chevy in the garage! And a 57 chevy love seat in the sun room!

Ok I'm jumping in late here Will... I have yet to read the other 40 posts in here... but I will later..

So with that said...are you crazy?? We're a family first and car forum second... you're always welcome to post here!! Doesn't matter what you drive.

Now with that out of the way Congrats on the new ride!! I like it... especially the two tone on the doors. The dash looks HUGE though..

Ok, I'm off to read the replies and study your pics more in depth...lol

Yes they do Zozo...

There are a couple of combinations with no burl, like this:

Thanks much for that Sean. I'll certainly be interacting with the Lexus forum, (IF they let me register! lol), but I really didn't want to leave here! This is the first car forum with which I have become so involved... and it has been great. ArizonaG35's experience is a prime example. One of our brothers, sharing a frightening, blood pumping experience, and everyone rallying around to make sure he knows that he responded well, and support him. We're a bunch of folks from all over the country... the world in some cases, most of whom know very little about each other, save for what we learn here.

I ain't goin' anywhere!

Say What

Hey BigWill

You may not be happy in that Lexus forum so you can always return here & let us know how that Lexus compares to our G's? Also a little Ford bashing is always fun My previous vehicle was a 92 ES300 5 speed. When car shopping, I found that the G was more comfortable sitting in it over the 2006 Lexus.Good luck with it.

People can't leave here unless they are banned, sold or traded. BigWill doesn't qualify for any of those options.

And here you go telcoman, to make your Saturday...

So you want to give SVT an orgasm and give me a stroke? BTW, mine was black with the 352 cu inch engine. I wish I was eighteen again so I could have a do over.

Thanks Howard... So far I am very pleased with the ride and handling.

Interesting that you mentioned not being happy with the Lexus forum. The first one I tried to register with never did send out a confirmation e-mail. When I went in to find out what had happened, I found that MANY others had the same trouble. It was as if no one was moderating the forum!! All kinds of requests for confirmations.

The second site has been much better.

Oh, and for Rich... I do have to admit that there is a Furd attached to me in a small way. My girl owns this:

The pic does not do it justice. She has had it totally restored, and offers it to the movie industry for film and commercial shoots. Much as I give Furds crap, there is something about old iron that inspires... no matter what the brand!

Thanks Kyle... and you're right. The motors in that truck and the Toyota Tundra are pretty beefy! (I don't even want to get started on the Chrysler Hemi in the Ram!!)
