Way to much snow.THis picture really shows how many inches of snow have accumulated Look at my ground clearance. If my car was low I dont think i would be able to open my door until mid spring. Since most of the lower layers of snow have turn into a solid mass of ice. Last time I was able to move it, was Jan 1. Since then it seems to have been snowing non-stop everyday. Im starting to get bummed out from all this snow. It makes life so boring there is just nothing to do.

Dude, you should really wipe off the snow from your car. I mean, I know it sucks. Almost every day here it snows and I have to do it but it's definitely better than just leaving it. After a day or two alone it turns into ice.

I would brush it off if I could. I Don't drive it in the winter. So it stays parked at my parents house in Syracuse while Im most of the time in Buffalo.

Syracuse NY Is know as the snowiest metropolitan in the US. If any of you remember the Nickelodeon movie Snow Day, It was based off of Syracuse. I was just watching the news, The reporter stated that, We have received over a 105 inches of snowfall this season. The record is a little less then 200in. But The good news is it looks like Syracuse is going to win the golden snowball award again. http://goldensnowball.com

if i didnt drive mine in the winter and it could possibly get hit by this, id probly invest in a tarp of some sort, just to prevent snow getting into little cracks and crivices that could cause more rust down the road just my .02

I wish we were getting snow like that here. We have had decent snowfall, but nothing as awesome as that.

edit:

btw, thank you for calling it central ny. people in rochester think they are upstate, and nyc people call albany upstate. its so irritating, im damn near 20 min from canada, this is upstate! haha

I guess its one good thing about living in central Mississippi.

We saw .6 in of snow for the winter. Shoot - our winter is about to run out - no matter what the ground hog says. It is always warmer by feb 1st here.

Totally off topic but my mother lives in binghamton. I've never been there but hope to visit her this summer. Back on topic, I do not miss snow at all, not like what you guys have been getting. I've lived in Atlanta for 7 years now and we have had snow once (maybe 2 in.) and a really bad ice storm a couple of years ago. Other than that it gets cold for about 2 months out of the year and everything else is gravy.

It was about -60 below here a couple weeks ago. I'm in Fargo, ND for school and before christmas break we ended up getting about 2 feet of snow over night and snow drifts from the 30 mile an hour winds were over 4 feet in some places. Made me so happy I decided to drive a truck to college. I made 40 bucks in one day driving people 3 blocks to work because they couldn't get out of the snow haha.

To the OP I would agree with everyone else, brush that snow off, no sense in letting it stay there, shovel around your car, and put a tarp on that!

Yay for garages! i am in texas so i dont really have snow but when i got my 240 i cleaned out the other half of the garage JUST so i could fit both my cars.

I am way to paranoid to leave them outside.

Cant you get the hose and just spray the car down to get all the ice off? I don't know anything about snow, but that seems like something i would do haha.

Thanks for sharing!

One Love,

Ghasty
