king 4x4 -

This subject probably deserves its own thread, but just so you know, there is a VH45D-powered Patrol in Australia.

Look for member named "Chally", he is a moderator and has some info on this swap.

I was talking to some guys the other day that have a mate that is putting a vh45 with twin turbos into an s14. It sounded pretty crazy, they're looking for about 1200hp. I'll try get more info if i run into them again.

I was finally able to view the video, very nice. I really like the sound.

Educate me a little however. Where did you get a twin turbo Infiniti engine?

That's an old 300Z right? How heavy is it?

Please forgive my ignorance, roll your eyes, and educate me.

Sounded great & looks like tons fo fun!! Which transmission did you mate to the engine? If it's the TT 5 speed, did it bolt up directly or did you have to do any modifications?

I've got this crazy idea Slim,....... I'm converting my Q soon. When I get my suspension stuff ready I could come down, pick up the seats and pay you some duckies to convert my Q??... Just an idea man. I've got an active Q and I just need to convert it to ease my mind because I'm tearing myself up over it.

I just may come down anyway. Let me know if that floats or blows.

Sent paypal to secure those seats. Sent some extra for shipping but that could be a down payment

i think the q guys have been wanting to see something done with this fabulous motor for a while.that is not to say that nothing has ever been done, but this is by far the most tangible.i am still waiting for one of you guys to step up to the plate, give me a call, and lets discuss turbocharging and/or converting your q to 5 speed.you can go on and on discussing if/how it can be done.this z has shown you at the least that it can be done.as i have mentioned,it can be done for less $$ than you think.(678)698-7426.thanks for all of your comments about this car.450zxtt

Depending on how this year goes ($$ Wise), I do have 2 Q's - You can only drive one at a time, you know. I have been toying with the idea of some major mods to the silver one. Either that, or raffling it off. It runs great, but with over 200,000 miles on it, it might not be the engine to build off of. I live about .5 mile sfrom Z Solutions, in Alabaster. HE has a coulple of 300ZXTT's sitting around. I have thought of getting a TT or a convertible and doing a TT swap. Until I build my wife a new house, I can have no more toys. I think the new house wil be done in 2005. It has 5 garages! 2 on the mail level, and a basement with 3 bays, and room for 2 more cars! Then I will have room to keep my toys inside.

Love your posts, and keep in touch.
