Yeah, I watched it last night as well, and that sounds/look very mean/nasty.

Looking forward to more updates.

IIRC, and from the still pics, it appears to be a Twin Turbo VH45, or as some would call it, the beast within .

Slim, I've got a tuned Q45 code I could burn to a ROM for you, but TBH it leans out the top end which is probably the last thing you want on your setup.Because you've boosted it, you'll really need to look into expanding the maps then getting a good AFR from there, you'll be way past the max TP values on the stock maps I should think.I can mod my 300Z mapping stuff to work on the Q45 ECU if you want to have a fiddle. I've got the locations of most of the maps now. (was looking at them to convert them to my aftermarket system as a starting point for mapping)

i would love to have a fiddle at it...as you know,i was asking the guys at ztechz about this, but got no response.we are working on some prices for you and friday,as you can also see i have been trying to rally up some more interest ,parts will be a little less expensive if i can get more people involved...we would like to go cnc instead of more one- offs by hand.john,we need to burn some chips...450zxtt

You do know that JWT makes a boost map that is MAF based.. Just call them up, explain what your using..... They said to me taht it is compatible with ANY FI setup, so long as the injectors arent overpowered, and stuff along those lines...

back when i spoke with them it was set for 5psi ,was $600 and the sales guy acted like i wasnt actually building my car.i know it is childish, but i wont be dealing with them.actually i would just like to raise the rev limit and remove the top speed limiter, then piggyback from there.we will go stand alone with the other motor(low compression).wanna keep playing around with q ecu based set ups on the stock motor w/stock internals...450zxtt

Hello Guys, I am new kid to the forum but I joined up because of the profossianl expertise and knowhow of nissan engines and I am espacially interasted on the VH45DETT powered Z32 because you can get the VH45DE pretty cheap in the Region where I live (Dubai anybody) I even found a 2002 Cima Half-cut thats about 2500 US$ with every piece attached to it (even the headlights) and I am thinking of droping the engine inside of a 2002 Nissan Patrol one door (Look for it in the aussie forums if you want a pic or just ask for one) but I am facing a few problems mostly relating to the transmission (the engine compartment is big that they even drop Big Blocks in it) the transmission for the earlier engine (which is a TB45(s) carbruter) is very good and durabile and can withstand a chevy 454 easily.

The main reason for the mod is mostly engine related because the TB45 is a piece of junk (torquey yes but not that a high HP only 200hp).

I found out the service manuals for both the Q45 2003 & z350 so the wiring is not a problem & I am just asking for any helpful info for the swap.

Oh yeah a VH45De for a 94 model costs about 450 bucks with the transmission.
